I wanted to make a melee map with some pizzaz. Some ideas I came up with are giving a player a Dropship/bomber function. For 2500 ore and gas you can buy a shuttle that loads bombs (that you buy): scourge, infested terran and mines. Other features include a unit trading system (ability to give money and units to other players). What I plan on adding: Ability to buy hero units, 15 armor/weapon upgrades for any race and unit and a "missions mode" where you play 5 scenarios that are like single player missions (defend town for 30 mins, rescue a hero, etc).
The working right now: 2 computers that are set to insane expasion, buy bombs and bomber, trade money/units. I'm not really making this map to take full credit. I just want a melee map with UMS triggers blended in to make things more fun.
If you want you can add working triggers to this map and I will give you full credit.
NOTE: This map is still in alpha stage of production, playable but not done yet.

But Melee is already very exciting and very balanced. In my opinion at least...

Well, I'm not really taking the balance out of melee I am just giving players more options like unit trading/shuttle bombers (starcraft doesn't have a air bomber, I always thought it would be interesting to have one). I'm looking for ideas/trigger help on this map.
Also, as long as the cost of buying a hero unit is fair (price relative to unit value) it won't be unbalacing anything.

Double the cost and time to build. But that's not always balanced relative to the unit's strength.
