On a whim, I'm calling out for anybody who is playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 on the PlayStation 3, specifically the multiplayer component.
Basically, I just want to gather some SEN folk to play along with. Perhaps party up in Team Deathmatch or Search and Destroy. Something like that.

Classes-classes-classes. They're REALLY cool. I've prestiged once, so I've got 6 to work with, which I have creatively named: SCOUT, QQ, Wrath, End-fate, Truly Twisted Terror, and Scary-H.

SCOUT: uses M21 EBR (variable attachments), Throwing Knife, Stun Grenade, One-man Army (OMA), Cold-Blooded Pro, Ninja Pro.
QQ: Vector (silenced or FMJ), Stinger, Throwing Knife, Stun/Flash Grenade, Scavenger Pro, Cold-Blooded Pro, Ninja Pro.
Wrath: M241 (variable, usually Grip), [variable], OMA, C-B Pro (or stopping power?), Ninja Pro.
End-fate: Intervention (FMJ), M93 Raffica Akimbo, Sleight of Hand Pro, Stopping Power Pro, Steady Aim Pro.
TTT: F2000 (red dot/holo), M104 (grip/FMJ/silencer), Marathon Pro, Lightweight Pro, Ninja Pro/Commando Pro.
Scary-H: Scar-H (lul, avec Grenade Launcher), RPG-7, Scavenger/Sleight of Hand Pro, Danger Close, SitRep.

Also, what's up with the weapon balancing? Some weapons seem useless compared to others, regardless of what level you get them at.
Perfect example is M4A1, which you get at the beginning of the game. Ridiculously powerful. Same with Scar-H. FAL is good too.

Snipers: Does anyone use WA2000? I find myself using the other 3, but never the WA2000. It's huge, clunky, and not very powerful, if you ask me. Can anybody support this weapon?

First off, the WA2000 AND the M21 EBR suck. Well actually, the M21 with an ACOG is basically a FAL, and is kinda fun to play with, but anyway.

Four out of my five classes are with the Intervention >_> I use the Barrett too when I feel like it. Which isn't often.

Intervention FMJ
Akimbo Deagles
Sleight of Hand
Stopping power
Steady Aim
Semtex and Stuns

And it generally fluctuates around that general setup.

I'm getting a PS3 soon, but for now I'm playing on PC, but i'll let you know when i get the box =3

I actually think the M21 EBR is pretty good if the class that's using it sticks with silencer+stealth. I frequently get ridiculously high killstreaks on larger maps with a silenced M21 EBR. Two shots is all it takes, if I get a clear shot, but arguably, one Intervention/Barret shot is more powerful (per shot). But, I support the M21 EBR due to its low recoil, such that I'm practically aiming at an enemy and then shooting twice in a row.
'Course, that's all assuming that I can get a good position with it. A good sniper can easily pick me off if I'm running, but for the most part, it isn't too difficult for me to strafe and take a few quick shots.

My classes generally revolve around absolute stealth or absolute killing power. Barret is fun when the enemy is right in front of you but you can't knife him and you don't have enough time to pull out your secondary (assuming you have a good secondary for close range). Keep shooting, and if you have Stopping Power, you'll likely kill your enemy. x3

First off, there is no CoD: Modern Warfare 2... There is only CoD: Modern Warfare and Modern Warfare 2. Second I have it for the 360 because the 360 pwns the PS3

It's my roommate's account but I play often. I have a mic but honestly I've never gotten it working before xD I don't play much anymore 'cause I play a lot of hon, but add me and if I remember, I'll add you too. I'm like 2.5 or 3.5 prestige right now.

Get it for 360, nobody plays PS3 version.

My XBox360 borked a while ago, so I don't play it anymore. Lots of people play the PS3 version. o_O And I understand why people are so ready to promote the 360 so aggressively. There's no point in doing that - one is simply wasting valuable time that could be better wasted on playing the damn machine.

Was playing just now. Had some lulz. Got a Pavelow and a Stealth Bomber. Switched up my classes a bit, too. I alternate between SCOUT and Wrath for an time, using OMA. I simply find a good place to camp and set up claymores with Wrath, then begin to snipe with Scout (though Wrath is pretty good with its LMG, too).
I'm a fail sniper, so I use M21 EBR with a thermal. Rejoice, though, since I use an M241 with a grip. SCREW THE SIGHTS. (Once I get thermal/ACOG, I'll probably switch to one of them, hehehehe.)

On Skidrow, if you spawn near the apartment with the machine gun at the start of the game, it's often unbelievable how many people come through the front entrance (that green room). One simply picks them off with a sniper or LMG, and it's even funnier when you rack of multiple Emergency Airdrops while doing so.

Also, can anyone provide input for the F2000? I'm trying hard to use it, but it seems so freaking useless. It's overpowered by practically every other rifle. I don't even know what range it should be operating at. >_<

All Sniper Rifles do the same damage: 50 silenced, 70 unsilenced. The head/chest/body/limbs multipliers are different for each gun though. (This handy dandy Interactive Weapon Chart will explain that better than I can.) Personally, I'm a fan of the WA 2000 and Intervention, though I didn't even use the WA 2000 until this prestige. It gets the 1.5x damage head and chest multipliers like the Barrett and Intervention do, but can't have one shot kills on the body that those two can with Stopping Power... but I use Cold Blooded anyway, so I don't care. The M21 seems to be balanced somewhat by having slower bullet speed whereas the other 3 sniper rifles seem to be almost hitscan.

Primary: FAL with Silencer + Holo (<-- Yes, I do have an irrational like of single-fire rifles)
Secondary: .44 Magnum with Akimbo + FMJ (<-- Yes, I do also have an irrational like of revolvers)
Perk 1: Bling
Perk 2: Cold Blooded
Perk 3: Last Stand
Haven't been using this as much as I'd like because I'm going for stupid attachment unlocks on every assault rifle... and there's a lot of those. Last Stand is pretty fun and underrated, IMO. Most of the time, you can pull out your two revolvers and get revenge on the person who knocked you out before they catch on.


SMG
Primary: P90 Silenced
Secondary: M1014 Silenced or .44 Magnum w. Tactical Knife
Perk 1: Marathon
Perk 2: Lightweight
Perk 3: Steady Aim or Ninja
Pretty standard stealthy class. Run behind enemy lines and go to town. I really like the P90, as the Blue Tiger camo I have on it can testify.


LMG
Primary: RPG Silenced or AUG HBAR Silenced
Secondary: Stinger
Perk 1: Sleight of Hand or Scavenger
Perk 2: Cold Blooded
Perk 3: Ninja
I'm not really a huge fan of the LMGs in this game... I think they were better in MW1. Though with a silencer and CB things can get pretty fun sometimes.


Sniper
Primary: WA 2000 Thermal Sight
Secondary: M1014 FMJ
Perk 1: Sleight of Hand
Perk 2: Cold Blooded
Perk 3: Ninja
Pretty standard sniping class. I really like the M1014. First off, it's from Left 4 Dead. But seriously, it combines the range + killing power of the SPAS-12 with the firing speed of the Striker. (I also like the Striker... it's from RE4, haha) Just need to deal with the 4 shot clip, but the M1014 has served me well.


Sniper ACOG
Primary: Intervention or Barrett .50 Cal ACOG Sight
Secondary: M1014 FMJ
Perk 1: Marathon or Sleight of Hand
Perk 2: Stopping Power
Perk 3: Ninja (have I mentioned that I like using Ninja?)
This class is honestly just weird... yet oddly effective sometimes. Either of those sniper rifles + Stopping Power gives one hit kills on any part of the body besides limbs. So, yeah, if you don't miss, you'll do good.


Demolitions
Primary: Whatever Assault Rifle I need kills with that isn't the M16 or FAMAS (those need Stopping Power) + M203 Grenade Launcher
Secondary: AT-4, Thumper or RPG, depending on mood
Perk 1: Scavenger
Perk 2: Danger Close
Perk 3: SitRep
I haven't been listing equipment, but there's Claymores on this class. Fairly simple stuff here: everything blows up. Campers? Noob tube 'em to hell. Dual shotgunners and knife jerks? Claymore counter.

I don't own a PS3 but I do own an Xbox 360 as well as Modern Warfare 2.
