im pretty new to mapping so this might be a dumb thing but i have problems with the wait command. i have

conditions:
player 2 brings exactly 1 psi emitter to srm-2
actions:
kill al psi emitter for player 2 at srm-2
create 4 short ranged missile for player 2 at bc-2
wait 1000 millisecs
kill all short ranged missile for player 2
preserve trigger

the first time it happens, the things stay alive for like 30 secs, then after that it seems to work.
does anyone know whats wrong?

Are you using another active wait command?

Yes, it causes a wait block. Info on Wait Blocks
You can either remove one of the other waits, or use death counts. Info on Death Counts

now i have one more question, is it possible to hurt a unit through triggers by a certain amount and not triggers?

Try direct damage system. Info on that

Basically, you have reavers attacking a building that you constantly heal (so it doesn't die). Then you store the scarabs they use in an area. When you need to hurt a unit, you just move the scarabs to that unit to hurt it. It is somewhat complicated and resource (locations, triggers, units, etc.) intensive.

the unit i need to hurt is an air unit. is there any other way?

One option is to create a few enemy scourges around the unit and attack it. If the scourge had 1 damage, creating 7 scourges around it would deal 7 damage. it all depends on the map though.

Is it biological? Irradiate is easy to provoke.
