Hey I have this section where the player walks into an area with two choke points and I want walls of fire (dark templar deaths) to block off these two chokepoints and also make it so the player can't just walkthrough them, how would I go about doing this, thanks Pinky.

You can block the ramp with Dark Templars.

That is, if the blocking Dark Templars don't displace the dying ones to an undesirable extent. If they do, then in terms of location efficiency it would depend on if players only have one unit to worry about or multiple.

I think disabled cannons would look cool.

You can use two different players of dark templars, or use dark templar hero for deaths, and unit for the wall, or throw in zeratul to the mix.

As for location efficient, use cloaked ground units to block and cycle them through 2 neutral players:
Center on a P9 dt at anywhere - the left-most will be chosen, create a dt there, kill it and give the dt at the location to the P10.
Center on the next dt, do the explosion, give to P10, and so forth.
When P9 controls 0 dts, give all dts from P10 back to P9.

just a bump on this thread i have always been using players 1 through 8 because i thought the others couldn't be detected through triggers.

how many other players can be detected?

P9-12 (P12 is Neutral) work well as Neutral computers. See the section on them in the FAQ http://www.staredit.net/topic/7783/

sounds like moisture control is often a pressing concern in your city
