OVERWATCH STATUS GO

Maybe if you had been a part of SEN before, say, 3 months ago, you'd get what a large role Doodan has played here at SEN.

I've been part of SEN for a while now.

It's just another dude leaving, with more and more people making a big deal out of it. It's the same way over at the StarCraft.org Forums, what with Basan leaving and all.

I suppose I just don't care about what an online community thinks about its own members. Whatever.

OVERWATCH STATUS GO

Not just any member, mind you, a Global Moderator. The amount of crap he's had to deal with due to whining members deserves my respect alone.

Yep, mhm, mkay. I see mods come and go. For me, it's easy to shirk off whiners.

Que Sera, Sera.

Aww man. Doodan you rock. Peace out.

Nov 27 2009, 5:01 am The Starport Post #30

You guys realize he hasn't said he's leaving per say (I hope), right? :P

I don't blame him for not wanting to be a nanny.

I've been at one of the oldest StarCraft forums since 2005, so I've seen quite a few moderators come and go. It gets to the point where it's just "another news story" or has the relevance of one.

Hi, TuxedoTemplar, my name is Pr0nogo, and I've NEVER met you before!

SEN is a very small and tight-knit community, so it's a little different when one of us leaves or steps down.

Especially when that "one of us" has been in that position for years.

We live in a society.

Who cares if he cares? Of course, one should respect what he says. But, there is no point to causing yourself mental anguish in getting him to understand things the way you do when it is ultimately inconsequential.

I must have missed this at the time.

You've always been a good mod, Doodan. You're going to be missed.

Oh_Man -- whereas just "press X to get 50 health back" is pretty mindless
[2024-5-06. : 5:02 am]
Oh_Man -- because it adds anotherr level of player decision-making where u dont wanna walk too far away from the medic or u lose healing value
[2024-5-06. : 5:01 am]
Oh_Man -- initially I thought it was weird why is he still using the basic pre-EUD medic healing system, but it's actually genius
