Hi SEN.
I am looking at getting a new Signature again. Last time I offered minerals, this time I can't.

So let's get to business.

I want something that's not a rectangle, I'd like an image that fades around the edges, probably more circular like, but not a perfect circle.

If you google 'Pray for Plagues' you can find an image of Oli Sykes with saliva coming from his face and a grim set of teeth. I'd like that As the main render. Some blood splatter on top of / dragged bloody hands too.

I'd also like to have somehow the words:

We all carry these things inside, So no one else can see.
They hold us down like anchors, and drown us out at sea.
I look up at the sky, they may be no one there to see.
But if I don't believe in him, why would he believe in me?

We can't explain the universe, just describe it; and we don't know whether our theories are true, we just know they're not wrong. >Harald Lesch

get a computer and photoshop away.

Yeah, that's realistic.

Not a rectangle - Eh, it's a square. Sorry, text wouldn't fit with the circle.
Pray for Plagues pic - I think?
Blood splatter/bloody hands - Blood splatter, blurred out a bit to look better.
Block o' text - Yep.
Your name - Wasn't listed, but I put it there anyways. Let me know if you want something else.

Take out my name, use a cool, white font, cut out a circle and on the outside part make it fade from near the circle outwards. Make said circle not perfect.

Also, don't be afraid to go out the circle, the idea is the edges are transparent and it looks like a dark ominous character is coming out of the skin.

Get GIMP if you can't afford photoshop.

Aaron Gillespie is certainly not emo.

And neither is Oli Sykes.

It doesn't get much more emo than Aaron Gillespie

Nov 4 2009, 12:04 am Norm Post #11

The both of them look rather emo to me. If not emo, there is certainly something else wrong with them. Waste of a signature if you ask me.

"I listen to BMTH!!1 I'm so hardcore!1"
You can't really have that much text in a circle, anyways.

Now guys, don't make fun of people for having a certain taste in music. Although I don't like the "emo" stuff, I won't make fun of people for it. I only make fun of the people who listen to rap and country :P

I was limited from the details you wanted and it was really weird with text being in the circle so I cut them out at the edge of the circle.

It's pretty large, but its easy to scale down.

I think it would do better with a more oval shape.

I can make the background darker, too, and fill in the black where his shoulder should be.

This one is rough, the alpha channel didn't do what I wanted. I'd make it a perfect oval if you wanted me to.

Quote the one you like, and how you want the text. I can stick on some different fancy backgrounds too, but none of mine really fit. If you have an idea other than black, describe it to me. I don't think a circle works here, due to the 150 height restriction, but I can certainly offset the dude a little bit and have a circle like in this.

Here's a blurred version of the image I assume he wants, for anyone else who wants to try.

"Parliamentary inquiry, Mr. Chairman - do we have to call the Gentleman a gentleman if he's not one?"

The first two were what I wanted Rockz, I was hoping to see a gradual fade from the edges into the background though.

I liked Fierces text for the word Shocko, though I tend not to care much for my name on signatures.

The song lyrics don't have to be restricted by being in the dark, they can go over the part that is transparent/faded out.
For these I'm looking for a more 'written in stone' font. Sort of etched in, or, scratched in.

BMTH aren't emo nor Hardcore either. Nor do I like all their songs...

I'd make you another sig but I BSoD so many times that it's not worth getting photoshop again just to lose my billions of resources i download to make my stuff awesome.

Also, circles suck.

The 2 rockz did were exactly what I wanted. The idea behind 'like a circle' was that people understood not just a wall of black. All I need now is for him to fade it in to the background, add more blood to make it look scary, and give me a few variations of fonts, with words, without words, with name, without name and just make a real scary signature I'm glad to put under my posts.

ᴄʜᴇᴇsᴇ ɪᴛ!

I'll work on it tonight during class. When you say blood, do you just want blood spatter everywhere, like these?

I can drop them all around the BG etc...

Stuff like the first blood splatter pattern. But you know in horror movies when a bloody hand has tried to hold on to a wall and they leave smears, stuff like that too.
