Rules & Regulations
- Single elimination. No Bo3.
- We will all be playing the Tournaments Official Version: Temple_Siege_1.4M3.3
- If you lost your match (and didn't host), but the version you played was not the official one - you may request a rematch.
- There will be NO hacks, spoofs or other starcraft modifications tolerated.
- You may not wall-in your spawn.
- You may not manually click attack your spawn with fast attack animation units like mech, you may 'team splash' your own spawn with storm, archon/fbat attack, lurkerbombing, mech's tanks, reavers, etc. 'team splashing' means you are attacking an enemy unit, your own comps spawn just happen to be close enough to die from the splash also. The only instance you are allowed to purposely kill your own team's spawn is if they are blocking your path. Neutral/P12 units are allowed to be killed by anyone at any time, with 1 exception. You may not volt lv3 or assassin lv2 allied player summons with the intent of farming. It's a loophole in the rules that needs to be explicitly forbidden.
- Player summon killing is more strict. You may not 'team splash' player summons(medics,goblins,etc). Only the occasional accident is allowed. Killing an ally's medics because the player "is a noob feeding them" does not qualify as a valid reason, and will result in DQ.
- If you end end up with a glitched unit from a spell cast like a Valkyrie, leave it at the back of your base or suicide it.
- Teams will consist of 3 players.
- All teams must designate 1 Captain (hopefully the most active of the team) to represent them.
- The captain must have a SEN account, the remaining members however, do not.
- These rules are not finalized and are subject to change, including new rules, removal of previous rules, or modifications to all rules.
- The winner of the tournament faces Maxx, Iceman16, and ][cy for the Champ spot.
- Let me be clear: You won't be charged for taking advantage of anything else that you might have invented and is widely unknown. I don't punish ingenuity and thinking outside the box.
- Latency has to be low, and the no players can lag.
- you can not be forced to play more than 3 games in 1 night. If the tourny cant finish in 3 rounds, you have the OPTION of postponing your match for another day, or getting a sub.
- If you die while transforming with Mech, and you are glitched into full health, you must immediately return to your base for a health reset.
- There is an incredibly rare glitch where mech has an invincible vult when dying while lv2 rail gun is cast. Leave this unit unused in the back of your base if this happens.
- The winning team of a match must show me, or at least let me download the replay (I save them, and host them)
- If this happens, you play it out. The mech can do what he wants in his undead state, and if the map ends in victory for the other team before you or his temple dies, the map's trigger is valid and final.
- Glitches have been fixed, some less friendly than others. Don't come whining to me when your bat died when you try glitching for invincible units.
- If you think glitching or cheating has taken place in your game, you must play the game out. The replay/screenshots will just be checked.

Championship Rules:
- If a tournament has at least 24 different participants and the winning team has no byes, then they are are guaranteed a Championship match with the Champ Team for Champ Team title. (This is universally true and holds to any tournament anyone anywhere feels like hosting)
- The champ team may enter the tournament from the beginning, but if they lose during it, the tournament winners are the new Champ team. No sense in doing this unless they want to show their balls/dominance.
- The tournament winners choose if they are North or South, and the Champ team hosts.
- Champ team may put their title on the line whenever they want, however they want.

Map Information (M3.2)
The M3.x series is an edit done by myself. Basically, I just took M7, with all its bug fixes, and changed all the spells back to classic MT/M3 spells. The assim rate is from M4-M7 (between MT and M3). Unfortunately I had to unprotect the map to do this so the map is stolen, in violation with SEN's rules. So you won't see it hosted here, though it is currently being circulated on b.net.

Minecapping was reinstated, but limited to an extent. If you mine cap with your level 1, 2 of your 3 mines are killed, giving you 5 gas refunded per mine. The remaining mine also has 2/3 hp. So you can still cap with your mine will using your marine elsewhere, but the enemy isn't forced to take a full hit from 3 mines to stop you, and volt can stop the mine cap with 4 attacks to it. The lv4 exploit from 3.1 is now fixed as well.
The mine drone Lv4 spawns vincible mines until the final 9 mine burst which are invincible.
Rine has +3 again, but has a base damage of 8 instead of 11. Power rine is at least an option again. All of these rine changes where done with compromise in mind. There had to be a way to allow classic rine play, just not gamebreakingly good.

Firebat has been completely put back to normal with all his spells. There is 1 minor diffrence with his lv1+lv4. dwebing your own ghost was terribly hard on warrior and just all around unbalanced. If you dweb your ghost, the ghost will be removed via triggers.

The mission briefings are also completely redone. The very first thing you see is the date/place for the next up coming tournament, and last tournament's Champs. At the very very end I put in a special thanks. If you host Temple Siege often you might find your name listed. M3.3 will have more.

FAQ's
Is it too late for me to sign up?
Never. Even if you can't make it at 7PM, you can be made a sub for someone who left early. If you can't still too late, still play for as long as you can, you will just be subbed out.

How can I sign up?
At the most, post in this topic that you want to sign up (preferably with a team). At the least, just show up!

I'm not coming cuz I can't get a pro team together, or, There's no way I'm gonna win.

EDIT: If anyone wants me on their team, in 1.5 i play phantom/rine/mutant, but do a bunch of random also.

And i play alot so i will adjust to changes fairly quickly.

Decent compromises, I suppose. However: why the hell did you remove the ghost instead of the D-web...? The ghost is 120 mana, the D-web is 25. =o


Signing up without a team.


How do you propose we do the team choosing? I'm sick of the stupid shit with people just hosting as a certain team and rushing at their top characters. You saw it with the "tourney champs" in the MT tourney where everyone knew Marine was imbalanced, I'm sure you'll see it again here. Why don't you just have a draft? Each team bans 1 hero, then you alternate picking 3 heroes per team. Then you play with them. The team that bans first picks first. That's how DotA does it and it's 100 times more balanced and fun.

I support such a drafting arrangement.

Faz that's not a bad idea with the ghost. There might need to be a 3.3....

there won't be a banning of any characters, but you reminded me of something I took too lightly in the past. I didn't care who hosted and quite a few times (with you especially) this involved the hosting team getting their pick of north or south. So if both teams have a player that can flawlessly host, you can elect for a coin toss from me to decide who hosts (and host chooses their team's side).

Can't warrior just use l3 to kill ghost under d-web?
Wouldn't it be better to remove the d-web rather than the ghost?

I've given it to just about everyone that hangs in op sen, ask sum1 there. You can also just play MT, they're basically the same.

Also remember, you have to run up to the ghost underneath the dweb for the trigger to remove the ghost. So the ghost would have died anyways.

Sure, why not? I'll play mostly whatever's given to me. I like Warrior and Mutant, but I can work with Mech, LM and Marine too.

Nice, i work with alot of chars, and although im slightly new to that type of map style, i can do it. I can also host, but i dont doubt most people can.

I like how you kept a lot of my rules, ideas and formats. Makes me miss the good days.

You're pulling a faz by needlessly making things about you, trying to direct some kind of credit to yourself shocko. Be the good humble shocko I like.

Also, if you start playing as a team together now you'll probably make it to the last round at least. Being a good player isn't as good as having a solid team plan that you have rehearsed. Shroomz taught me moose and shocko that the hard way.
