First I want to apologize that I am NOT making any extravagant changes to Mini-Game Party FINALv2 (other than bug fixes and a couple new mini-games.) The beta for that version will be out in a matter of days.

As reparation, I will be making one more map which I believe will top Mini-Game Party FINALv2.
(I know I said I would "retire" after MGP but I don't want to be a Brett Favre so I'll just keep hush hush over this matter.)

In my 9 years of map making my maps have always been targeted for the b.net audience. This time, I want my map to be for the SEN community; a map you can play with friends. So as a result, I will value your input more than I ever have.

I have secretly wanted to make this map ever since I began working on Mini-Game Party. There will be 64 mini-game ideas. All of them are extremely team oriented, probably more than you could possibly imagine in a starcraft map. Again I am very open to ideas. Also because this is a 2v2 game, my primary emphasis is for the games to be more competitive and skill oriented than lols/luck/bs/etc.

Currently that's 62 ideas. The names of many may be the same as from Mini-Game Party but they're going to be different, trust me ;). In a lot of these games, team members will have different roles. For instance in Dog Fighters, one teamate will be the airplane and the other will be the "aimer." This is why teamwork is key to success in this game.


As soon as I make finishing touches on Mini-Game Party! FINALv2, I'll start on this map and make a new thread in the map production forum.

Ah, glad you didn't bail on us. :) Oh, and I was wondering... I know you said b4 you were gonna stop map-making after MGP (liar), but, at the time, did that mean in general or just till SC2 came out?

Overaly i played mini game party i think like 600 times now -.-, thanks for making such a great map one more time from US_________KEEEEEEIN o.o

BTW pain i want a rematch -.- so far only ppl able to win with me were u that one time and Mystery, i won with mystery few times now i wnat to win u o.o so i can say i won every pro

I have lost against M-y-s-t-e-r-y before :( And USS_Cane very rarely sometimes used to lose against me, but now I'd lose against him too :( It is a shame.

The teams have to bet a random amount of points from 1-3
if one team refuses to accept the random bet, the refusing team explodes for no reason, and loses. :P

yeah what's the status of this map and the mgp v3? Also I was wondering how you were going to make air hockey...I have made a couple star craft hockey maps that i've been planning on posting for a while....but anyways i was thinking of redooing some things on them and I was wondering how you would do this so maybe i could get some ideas for them, aight thanks.

1. Clear the Way - there is a field full of enemy civs. P1 is a tank and must avoid hitting the civs and go from point A to point B. P2 is a wraith helping clear the path of P1 tank.
2. GTFO - Comps has center loc at p1 civ and will attack on sight. It is up to p2 rine to protect. Last one standing wins
3. Lava run - p1 and p2 are to run down a mountain and avoid yellow lings coming straight at them. p1 builds pylons as sandbags to slow down while p2 fbat detroys obstacle in way. last one standing or first one to reach bottom of island wins. Use the long stretch terrain
4. Defend Castle - 2 Overmind structure in opposing sides of rectangle owned by each team. p1 mines money and builds buildings that turns immediately into a unit, gets moved right next to overmind and gets controled by p2. p2 uses the unit to kill enemy overmind. Last overmind building standing wins.
5. Simple havoc - all players own vultures and try to kill each other using spell-like attacks.
6. Picture perfect - a 8x8 square will generate a few pylons that are placed randomly in that square. P1 will have to copy the picture in his/her own 8x8 terrain and probe. The problem is that p1 can't see the picture, only p2 =D. team that can duplicate the picture directly wins. everytime you submit a wrong one, p1 is penalized for 7 secs, then he/she can start rebuilding.
7. Cloakbusters - P1 is surrounded by junk yard cloak units. P2 ensare. team with most kill wins
8. Leapfrog - each player gets a ling. 4 vertical lines rines block their paths. Team that reaches the other side wins.
9. Dodge Missile -1v1 muta arena fight. p1 controls muta, p2 builds scourge missile and uses directional aim. Last muta standing wins
10. Genocide - p1 is defiler, p2 is queen. comp lings are being spawned at an alarming rate. must kill all lings before they spawn more. When area has more than 30 lings, then u lose. Each team is equipped with plague and broodling
11. Sea Treasure Hunting. Players must direct their submarine (floating cc) to the treasure. p1 controls the cc buy using the build keys of a Stargate. Unfortunately, p1 cannot see where he/she is going, that is the job of p2. p2 will oversee the cc.
12. You called down the thunder - A city is under nuke attack. help protect the civilians. p1 is Arb, p2 is invincible rine. p1 must stasis at right time while p2 kills ghost nukers. every 10 secs a ob will spawn on top of rine for 5 secs (to c cloak ghosts). The team with least casualties wins
13. Now reap the whirlwind - A city is under nuker attack. kill these helpless civilians. Everyone is equipped with a ghost and nuke silo. Watch out, not everyone is unarmed; players must also dodge invincible rines by cloaking.


You can also take some of your mini games and simply replace comp with other player. For example, the MC jump game, replace the ovies with actual players. or the one that the objective is to build the most pylons; you can have p1 be pylon builder while p2 be pylon killer.

on one hand, I think solo is better than having to hope that your teammate isn't stupid.

but on the other hand, this is a milleniumarmy map, and is sure to be epicly awesome.
