a while ago i played a simple defense map called fire vs. ice defense

simple, but it seemed fun to me, but at the time the map was messy and many bugs were apparent

so, i cleaned up the terrain, and am starting to rebalance unit prices, upgrades, etc. there are sitll a lot of bugs, and was hoping i could get some help on them. a few in particular:

1. the enemies are just supposed to walk to the bottom. sometimes they attack, whether the defender walled or not. why is this?

2. sometimes a few of the enemies will just stop at the spawn and not move.

3. unless i dont notice it, it seems as though the defeat trigger will set off randomly...?

Back* from the grave

I can't open it right now, but maybe some help:
1 & 2--Check your commands. If you're using the "patrol" command, they will stop and open fire. Try using the "move", or if all else fails, use AI script to order the units...but that would be hard to trigger due to it's execution.

3--Check conditions for the Defeat action. Copy & paste the triggers from trigedit into notepad++, or Word [I don't have np++], and use the search function.

I'll open it up if it's unprotected and help you out whenever I can.

We can't explain the universe, just describe it; and we don't know whether our theories are true, we just know they're not wrong. >Harald Lesch

1: Tanks and Goliaths have independent turrets that automatically engage enemies. Set the players to ally the computer or make the runner computer neutral.

2: Usually a pathing problem. Try wider paths or fewer units (with more hp).

3: Check the conditions of the defeat trigger(s) and try to figure out every possible moment all conditions are true. Adding another condition can easily fix it once the culprit is found.

O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- below the minimap should be a thing that says "Overlay Settings" with a little + button in the corner, press the + to expand it, uncheck Use Defaults, then change "Tile Overlay" to "Height"

Sylph-Of-Space -- It would be so so so nice if SCMDraft had some kind of dedicated "walkability" view for the tilesets.
