Que Sera, Sera.

my friend gave me an iPod mini, it lets me plug it in and put music on it but when i turn it on it gives me this:



i've looked at the ipod support page and tried some things and its not really helping, advice please?

I wish rockbox were available on more versions...

download the ipod shuffle/mini (whatever ipod you have) manager and restore it to what it was when you first bought it. This would probably take about 25 minutes. Your going to lose all your music though.

He says he's updated and restored defaults. I'm inclined to believe him. Hopefully you live near a mall with a mac store. Go there, that's what they're there for. With any luck, they'll give up and give you a new one.
