I was wondering how you can set up a trigger to remove ensnare/plague?

do you mean AFTER it's cast on a group of units? I don't think that is possible unless u have alot of medics ready to use restoration

You can't remove those, they're not actually units, they're a weapon sprite, I believe, do you need remove them, or could you just disable their use temporarily?

i've seen it in some maps but i just cant think of which or i'd look up the trigger, maybe in Special forces map... but once the queen casts it... it hits then it disappears.... does the same thing apply to dark swarm? cause i think they remove those in test of survival games?

Firegraft is for modding. Everyone playing the map would have to download the .exe that had been modded to play it. Also it wouldn't be Firegraft that they would use (i believe). Are you sure there wasn't a medic around?

very sure... ive seen it in TOS where they remove dark swarm, and in some special forces map in a location they remove ensnare, now they might remove it just as it hits idk, but i do know there are maps that do use those 2...

The only spells you can remove are Comsat Sweep, Dark Swarm, and Disruption Web, triggers have no effect on ensnare. Maybe if you were close to the sprite max you wouldn't be able to cast it properly?

You can remove dark swarm, but I've never heard of ensnare being removed. I suggest you play the map again to make absolutely sure, and then open the map and find the trigger. It's also possible that the unit was removed and a new one was created.

After reading all this.. WHAT kind of game would require the use of units being ensnared for like a second and then having it removed? Other then a graphical effect all its gonna do is SLIGHTLY reduce movement speed, which can be done with triggers and burrowed units.

Perhaps the map detects when Ensnare is cast via EUDs and makes the units around the queen invincible for a few seconds to make the Ensnare have no effect on them. You didn't tell us what does Ensnare do in that map (if anything at all).

If it's special forces, it's just a queen that runs in every minute or sn that ensnares then runs off. I believe an AI script is used.

You also may be able to abuse Invincibility, and keep switching it, though that would roughly only give you a 50% shot of avoiding it, but it would mess with every other attack/effect as well.

I douau it. Special forces doesn't have especially complex systems like that. It's a simple map. So either it was sprite limit, or it was PK's version and the brown medic has restore.
