So up rolls a riot van And sparks excitement in the boys But the policemen look annoyed Perhaps these are ones they should avoid
Got a chase last night From men with truncheons dressed in hats We didn't do that much wrong Still ran away though for the laugh Just for the laugh And please just stop talking Cause they won't find us if you do Oh those silly boys in blue Well they won't catch me and you
Have you been drinking, son You don't look old enough to me I'm sorry, officer Is there a certain age you're supposed to be Cause nobody told me
And up rolls the riot van And these lads just wind the coppers up They ask why they don't catch proper crooks They get their address and their names took But they couldn't care less
Got thrown in a riot van, and all the coppers kicked him in, and there was no way he could win, just had to take it on the chin.
Just got into these guys, little weird but I like it.
Try Mardy bum, When the sun goes down, From the Ritz to the Rubble. OR just download the "Whatever people say I am, the " album. I forget the rest of the name but i gave you enough to google on. As weird as they sound, after a while these guys start to sound like crap to me. I used to really be into them but i forgot what was said about them but it was true, and it wasn't a good thing. Idk maybe I'm a tool.
Radiohead - Faust Arp
eh... have like 125 songs from Radiohead.... fuuuu-
I am unfamiliar with much of their music, but I gave half a second to the name for thought, and I wonder, is the name "Taking Back Sunday" supposed to be their title for explicitly anti-christian music? Do they present a religious or anti-religious stance in their music? I read over some of their songs' lyrics and listened to a few of them and was extremely dissapointed, both by the quality of the music and the lack of lyrical composition (if "lyrical" is a word), and also by the lack of a stance in reference to their name.
I was playing starcraft and it felt like my left eye was wondering the room while my right was looking at the screen. Then again I was listening to this guys stuff all day so im like...trippin balls.

They're not anti-christian, but as with Brand New as well, they discuss religious subjects at times. I think you might like some of the discussion that goes on in Brand New's songs Vrael. Try Jesus Christ or Limousine.
SEN Global Moderator and Resident Zealot ------------------------- The sword and the faith.
You know, I actually enjoyed that song alot. Which was sort of unexpected, but it has enough of a classic rock feel to it that it's enjoyable. Plus it didn't have any whiny chickish vocals ala anything modern rock.
I don't care what anyone says, when i'm 40 and gonna be cruising the country in my mustang with my bitch in the passenger and my dog in the back seat blasting these guys while wearing a flannel shirt.

I listened to both, and Brand New seems to be a huge jump in just about every area of music you could critique over Taking Back Sunday, no competition. Their music clearly has a bleak tone, and their music reflects it with the repetition, simple beat, lack of complexity, and low dynamics. "Jesus Christ" is interesting insofar as one can discover the fear of mortality and what happens after death in the human race in their lyrics, and they get their point across well.

I enjoy it for the sound, and it's not a particularly deep song, just a fun simple song with a pleasant guitar.

O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- below the minimap should be a thing that says "Overlay Settings" with a little + button in the corner, press the + to expand it, uncheck Use Defaults, then change "Tile Overlay" to "Height"
