All right, i havent done any terrain in a while and it seems not many other people have either. I made this city for 2 reasons. 1, i wanted to improve my cities with better buildings and stoplights. 2, to get more activity in this forum.

Anyways this is a mid-sized city. I tried some new things as you can see. I made my stoplights better (in my opinion). I made some new buildings, and some new blends. (they are blocky but they work for me)
Also I made the road markings diferent, i now have passing lanes, left turn only lanes, and 1 way streets... Or at least thats what there saposta be...

Anyway here is the full city view:

Here is 3 diferent buildings packed tight together. This picture probably has the most new blends.

Heres another parking garage and a building with some garages?

The right one in this kinda sucks, i dont know what i was trying to do. But the abandoned building is kinda cool.

Ive used this building before, just modified it.

and then heres a park, i like the trees in it.

and last, and probably least, is some stoplights and corner of a building with a swimming pool on top. (didnt spend a whole lot of time with this one, it was just filler)

So anyway i hope you guys like.

I really like the 3rd one, parking on a roof is kinda kewl.

I think 2nd is the best, it just looks SO cool.

Tough it needs more grass/cars/whatever near the buildings, looks too plain.

id do a city for you.... for minerals :D
youd have to tell me how much or how little you wanted, like right now this city takes like 300 units and a bunch of sprites. I could take out stoplights, or sidewalks or what ever.

Am I the only one who thinks this looks amazing?

I'd love to see some tactical warfare in the streets.

I don't suppose you'd be willing to upload the .scm of it?

Nice Rory, I like the close-ups, didn't have those at maplantis. I think my favorite parts are the new non-blocky corners, those look great, and the stop lights, you haven't shown that yet. :P Good job again! And I'm so happy that you finally posted a map!

sounds like moisture control is often a pressing concern in your city
