Hmm...I posted this on Maplantis but no replies yet...anyone here knows how to make units like Firebats and Marines in a dropship attack like a in a bunker? I can do simple datediting and firegrafting. and understand a little IceCC now, so what else do I need to accomplish this? Does it have anything to do with bunker overlays or unit AI? How far must I go? Or is it plain impossible?

I second.

It's impossible.

(Maybe not in SC2 ;))

I think it's possible.

Have you tried giving the dropship the bunker attack overlay, unchecking the flyer flag, and putting the graphic air level above 12? (It would technically be a ground unit, but appear to fly). Or maybe you can try keeping it in air and editing the bunker attack iscript. Worst comes to worst you can configure a dropship to function like a building.

The bunker stuff is probably hard-coded. I think. :bye1:

That doesn't mean you can use its overlay on other things.

I've made it so that Barracks are able to be garrisoned and shot from, the only difficulty is that once it's flying, it crashes when attempting to attack.

Not all bunker things are hard coded but, most are I belive with what you are wanting you cant get it.Now you can make another unit a bunker type thing if that is what you would like. Now if what you want is a flying bunker I would say it would probaly not be possible unless its just me not knowing enough.
