Killing Floor is a Co-op Survival Horror FPS set in the devastated cities and countryside of England after a series of cloning experiments for the military goes horribly wrong. You and your friends are members of the military dropped into these locations with a simple mission: Survive long enough to cleanse the area of the failed experiments!

The Unreal total conversion went on sale for steam recently. I bought it and played it for a few hours, quite addicting and fun.

Only frigging nine diffrent omnsters?

In duke nukem 3D, out since around 1990, there was around 15 monsters!

Are you serious? The variety of monsters doesn't make a game good or not.

The correct response would be 'But they're all the same...'.

Same here. My clan on UT2004 convinced me to get it. We played a few games and then it suddenly became old to them. I didn't feel like playing with people I didn't know since it's kind of a team/communication based game, so I stopped playing. This IS the game where you could make barriers out of shelves and other objects, right? I hope I don't have this mixed up with another game.

No its where you are attacked by various waves of monsters and have to run to the merchant to buy ammo/weapons in between the rounds. The only objects that you can interact with are the doors.

Gameplay: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ahAhSlfKpU0

Also don't compare it with left4dead the gameplay is entirely different.
