ok another speed bump here, im creating multiple types of units sorta like evolves and when i mass all units to a location i want the scv to stay wherever it is. so do i have to go through and mass each unit to location one at a time? example..........bring 1 masser to player 2 mass...... order all men to attack player 2..... so can i do all men except scv or not? Thanks for your time anything will be appreciate as always

Actually, the easiest way to do this is to have all the units you want to have mass attacking on low terrain.
Then create the highest cliff on your tileset and place the masser (SCV) on top of it along with the beacons and etc.
Then create a location that covers the entire area where you want the units to mass attack.
Double click the location or go to the properties (this depends on what editor you use), and uncheck high elevation.
Then just put the regular triggers (all units attack at location).
The scv will not attack because the location only applies to mid and low elevation units but all other units will.
If you are using an air unit that spawns the units, just uncheck all of the air elevations as well to prevent the air spawner from moving.
Hope this helps.

so can i do all men except scv or not?
Unfortunately there's no 'except' condition/action.
The easiest way to work around this is to give all scv of Current Player to P11 then order all [men] of Current Player and give all scv of P11 back to Current Player.
Drawback: deselect
You can just use multiple locations surrounding the area where the SCV is and make the trigger have all units in those areas attack.
No drawbacks. Drawbacks: uses more locations, the SCV and the other units have to be separated.

I think Red2Blue's idea would work best. It doesn't use many locations and it doesnt deselect the masser.

I just realized the most efficient way. It has no drawback/requirement whatsoever:
After ordering all units, just teleport the scv either to itself (preserve the mass attack order) or to a reset location (so you can micro units after giving mass atk order)
Like that:
Order: patrol all [men] to 'attack blue'
Move unit: move all SCV at 'choose mass atk blue' to 'reset masser'
The move unit action will cancel the order right away and it will be in stop mode again.
