The hardest thing about figuring out a problem is definetly reading sentences that do not make any sense at all. Let me give it a shot at explaining this. (Be warned; I suck at explaining :()

I'm going to give you kind of a "real life example" of how this works. Did you ever get a pack of sticky notes, then draw a stick figure moving on each different sticky note? When you flip the sticky notes really fast the stick figure "moves." So your triggers in this case are a sticky note.

So here's a more primitive and simpler way at explaining this: Always have empty text that clears the screen before the next piece of text appears on the screen. Going back to the sticky note thing, what you have to do is have a "blank" sticky note in between each sticky note with stick figures drawn on it.

And; no, I don't think of it as sticky notes, I just pulled the idea out of my head. No idea if it helped or not (you tell me...), but I know some people that can visualize things better if you give them an example. I can definetly see you reading this and being more confused than before, if so; just ignore what I wrote.

On my computer, Starcraft can display 11 lines at a time. If you try to display any more than that, it will just display the last 11 lines.

Your computer may be different, I'm not sure. It's easy to test, though, just go into a Starcraft game and type a bunch of lines until it doesn't display any more and count the lines.

So for the credit intro trigger, you can do this.

First make a template so it's easy to see what line you're working on:

Put that into the "Display Text Message" field and you've got your template. Add your name wherever you want it. If you put it on the 6th line, that should put it in the middle of the screen, vertically. To make it horizontally centered, copy and paste this character:  before every bit of text you want centered.

Make sure you delete the numbers on each line when you finish with the trigger (obviously).

You'll need to use a "display text message" trigger just like that one for every different color change you want. Each one will need to have a different color code symbol. Look at the end of this post for the basic codes.

Keep in mind that if you want the text to look like it's flashing colors/moving/changing, you need to insert a "wait" action between each "display text message" action otherwise all the text messages will display instantaneously and you'll only see the last one.

To make the text look like it "moves", add spaces before/after the letters, and put it on different lines. The concept is simple, it just takes trial and error to figure out the right timing and placement.
