so im trying to make it so that there is only one designated area on the map where you are allowed to turn mutas into guardians. so i made locations that cover all of the areas where you are forbidden to morph them and i made the following trigger

condition: player 1 brings at least 1 cocoon to (forbidden area)
action: kill all cocoons owned by player one in (forbidden area)
display text message: you can only morph mutas in the designated area
preserve trigger

it seems like a simple trigger but its not working for some reason. does it have to do with the fact that the cocoons being created in the area instead of being BROUGHT as the BRING trigger would suggest? anyway, i could use any suggestions and if you have an idea of any other trigger that could let me accomplish the same task i would really appreciate it

None.

We can't explain the universe, just describe it; and we don't know whether our theories are true, we just know they're not wrong. >Harald Lesch

No, brings detects presence, whether you flew it in or created it there doesn't matter.
But I think the problem is that you can't detect cocoons with bring.

Haven't tried it, but there's a chance that the move location action can center on cocoons. If that's true you need to detect if the location 'test' centers in the middle of the location you're centering in (forbidden area). If 'test' is not in the dead center of 'forbidden area' then you just centered on a cocoon and can run your remove trigger.

On a side note, rather than killing the unit, you could give it to a computer player and give it back; I think it cancels the morph.

O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- below the minimap should be a thing that says "Overlay Settings" with a little + button in the corner, press the + to expand it, uncheck Use Defaults, then change "Tile Overlay" to "Height"

Sylph-Of-Space -- It would be so so so nice if SCMDraft had some kind of dedicated "walkability" view for the tilesets.
