As I understand, are your pylon frames supposed to be a turning feature?

Maybe the problem is that you have selected the "Graphic Turns" option in the images.dat entry of the pylon. Try deselecting it.

If not, in the images.dat, select the "Graphic Turns" option and in the script, use 19 times the "turncwise 1" opcode, one per frame (with the wait between them). That should work fine. If not, in the pylon's flingy.dat entry, change the "Turn Type" option from "0" to "127".

I was experimenting with something with the terran command center, and saw that when it was staying still that I could make it do something else and play another image. So I tried it out and every second it went to almost build command center then back. so I was like "cool". but then I thought I could do the same with my pylon like I saw in those videos of Starcraft 2. So instead of 1 image showing, I wanted it to spin like this:

What's not working?

Make sure you didn't break your GRP like I did once...

Oh, you might want to post the entire iscript for your Pylon.

well it warps in and then it crashes

Then that's probably something else breaking. Maybe you forgot to save the modified GRP, or saved it incorrectly.

but I think I did all the GRP's right by replacing every frame, could it be the shadow or the code?

It COULD be the shadow, take it out and see what happens.

Also, what's the Pylon saved as in the mpq? "unit\protoss\pylon.grp"?

And what K_K said.

yes of course I did that right! when I left the pylon code with the original, it showed... just didn't play the other frames (of course)

Play the individual frames only and not the whole framesets and tell us if that worked.

TheHappy115 -- Yea, thats the issue. Thanks. It would also explain why my deleted map couldn't get updated. Updated version reduced collision on units (only thing added) since was dodging game (players collide with each other)

TheHappy115 -- Its been awhile but ever since I requested one of the Maps I posted to be deleted since I couldn't delete it myself (or update it), I haven't been able to upload any more maps. Any reason for that?
