Now, to be honest I came up with this idea for an award within literally seconds. Sadly though, if I posted new topics every second I'd probably have them removed. And at last! the threads of time has passed and we are at last into Sunday! *Or so that is where I live.* Now! Today instead of doing an awards based off crappy things found in SC, with glee and very gayily I host yet another awards thread! 10th Nominee!

Volcolve99 is quite old, and if any of you haven't been around before 2005 you probably never heard of him. Basically, at a time his roleplays were almost the only type of rp's hosted, aside from Beardo of course. His RPs featured beautiful natural terrain, a lot of triggers, and even after that his ''Sacred Realms Rp.'' was over the top with triggers, and he even started the idea for different types of spawners. (Like Civilians and Medics for different types of spawns) Sadly though from what I assume, he was egocentric. I mean, seriously. Any map made by him other then Sacred Realm was called ''Volcolves (Insert name here)"


9th Nominee!

Personally, I my self don't care for Sies maps too much, but if I was biased and only put mapmakers I preferred in here I'd be a bised dick head. And I'm sure many of you may also be surprised to find Sie Sayoka on the list. And here are some reasons why. Regardless of how Sie Sayokas Roleplays turned out, she/he still had his/her contributions. If you consider it, Sie Sayoka was practically one of the pioneers for using 3D terrain. and if dwelve furthermore, Sie is probably the person that started the concept of 3D terrain in RP'S.

8th Nominee!

Finally! Here's a SC map maker I really take a lot of intrigue in. A part of being Great it seems is having yor maps ripped off, and it seems Leader-Mad sadly had numerous maps of his defiled and changed. Now, where do I begin? Numerous people assume he made the first SCI FI Rp. This is quite wrong, but he was practically the first person to make them really popular with his great Sci Fi creation, Last Stand Roleplay. Which has been ripped off by half-assedly done Starwars Rps, and AVP Rps. Aside from him being a pioneer for Space Rps he also made Lands Of The Free Rp, which is practically what every ICE Rp wanted to be. And of course, this map has been ripped off. (Frost Byte Rp, and numerous others.)

Okay, if you don't know who this guy is you probably shouldn't be here...Admiral Ramirez is the maker *With a lot of help* of GERP 4.0, Core, Core Legends, and Core Depths. To give you a better understanding of how these matter at all... Gerp 4.0 was a pretty popular rp at a time, it was almost impossible not to see it whenever you checked. And Ramirez also seems to have a fetish with "Core" in his titles. Core Depths and Core Legends were the two foul maps which started the "Fuck it, lets not put any fucking names.'' idea.

6th Nominee!

Laura is the person that started the installation Rp, and the only person to succeed in making a good map in such. What makes Station 37 a good rp is the fact it was able to stand up Gerp 4.0, eventually being hosted more then it. Aside from that she also made Isahain Rp *With Help of Excalibur.* and helped Excalibur in numerous projects in return. *If I'm correct she helped him with Josrestal.*

5th Nominee!

Excalibur! He is probably one of the best in Terrain, and underrated map makers. Honestly, I don't see Josrestal being hosted too much and I find the map is pretty damn good. Sadly though, I can never find a lot of things to say a lot about Excalibur, and sometimes being absent of words is enough to show ones respect.

4th Nominee!

If you don't know who he is, then you probably don't know Roleplaying. Vrael is basically the guy that made Feyvern and Lathirion, two very good roleplays which are hosted constantly. And there is always one thing I always found I felt about those two rps. They both seem sort of like Ticondera. Thus, without any doubt, Feyvern and Lathirion are like the new Ticondera. Aside from this, he has the best damn Template out there, and anyone that says otherwise will have a big argument on their hands.

3rd Nominee!

CMSF-Fever is the maker of Ticondera, probably one of the most hosted and most best Fantasy Rps of it's time and of today. Ticondera has been ripped of so much times you myswell just say it's like Starcraft having maps made by other people. Also, Ticondera is one of those maps which other maps wanted to be.

2nd Nominee!

Natalya helped make the almighty Gerp 4.0, and aside from that she also made Neoteric Genises rp. Neoteric Genises rp, I find this map had nice terrain, and pretty damn nice hulls. Sadly though, the map always had and always will have horrible lag issues.

1st Nominee!

Shmidley is the man behind Antiem and Treboria. Both are pretty much alike, and they are pretty mediocre. Also though, his maps had very unique triggers, and very intriguing ones at that.


I just wish to note that all the nominees are randomized, and that just because they are tenth doesn't mean they are truly tenth. This is a poll. and please, those that vote back up what you say. I don't just want people voting something if they cannot back up their opinion. I also wish to state - Anyone that thinks this should be closed, should also consider how much time I put into this. To finish this I had to actually put thought into the people, and to write this alone, it took an hour and a half. As opposed to some other people who got pissed at a SEN member, dared to call them retarded, and just randomely post an entire topic based on their feelings. (Why yes, this is a reference)

I'm also hopeful I'll be able to be granted to write these things once or twice a week (hopefully a SEN moderator/Administrator can come and decide on my idea.)

Why is there no 0blivion?
He is fucking awesome
Hobo City, Sandbox, and BioStar are 100% original, have godly terrain, and have themful unit names.

I hope to god you are being sarcastic. I find Mrekalis is better then Hobo City, and more serious. SandBox, well it's hard to do a roleplay if you have either Plastic Soldiers or Ants to play as. I also have a complaint on how he overuses rectangle terrain. Sometimes indeed it looks good, but I find he overuses it and anyone can use rectangle terrain if they have SCM Draft. Also, his Template rips off the Realms Of Mythology template. Aside from that his maps aren't the best in professionalism, the names are often times unoriginal and have typos in them (I don't mind typos too much, but if it's in a Roleplay it's very annoying)

And to go deeper within the subject of his terrain...lets compare Vrael to him, shall we?

Vrael only uses rectangle terrain in one area, and that is the spawning platform. The reason why? Well, simply because in most occasions Rectangle Terrain looks too artificial and out of place. Vraels terrain is pretty damn good too. Not only are they monumental and truly immersive, but they are natural and seemingly go well with the map. Everything seems in place, meanwhile Oblivion is randomized and he hasn't had too much contributions other then quick project after quick project.
And my final comment to this is that Oblivion cannot rp. I was once in an RP and all he did was randomely mass men and make a war.

Which, may I please note is NOT the meaning of the Roleplay. Just making men and making them attack is just playing with toys, but in Starcraft. Roleplaying is a collaborative effort with other players to make a storyline, a storyline which can be fulfilling as opposed to a half assed battle. I'm not saying Battles should not be in roleplays, but Im saying A roleplay should not just be centered around battling other players.

To be honest I still believe you are being Sarcastic, but just in case I stated my reasons. Do not I am stupid for missing your Sarcasm, It's just hard to tell since obviously I cannot see a smirk or hear your voice when I'm all the bloody way in New Brunswick, Canada.

I also wish to state my reason behind voting Leader-Mad-. Without Leader-Mad- there probably wouldn't be a starfire. It appears parts of Starfire borrowed Last Stand terrain. Aside from this, As I stated in my nominees I made Last Stand, a very great and one of the first truly popular Sci Fi Rps.

It seems like I have a lot of time on my hands, and to be honest I do. However, I hope no one pictures me obese or perhaps ugly because of such. Once I can afford it I'll probably use a picture of myself as an avatar.

I didn't do anything on the station maps actually. ANY non-station map with Laura was terrained by me.

Seriously. His terrain is garbage.

0blivion's terrain is a failure, the blending is worst than korean mapmakers do(and they do a nasty job at it, but thier triggers are the best), and 0blivion's console is also stolen, and his names are quite failure. Case closed, 0blivion shouldn't even be mentioned all in this discussion.

He is garbage. Until I see him make a map in which he didn't steal the console he is not a maker, just a stealer. An editor at best.

How intriguing! It seems this topic has a healthy amount of people intrigued in it! I predicted Vrael to get most votes, but I'm quite surprised to see Excalibur is just as popular.

Indeed, there are a lot of Roleplay map makers. And this all proves furthermore the time I put into this (like Research) I just wish I could have my wonderful, beautiful Starcraft working again so I could at last actually play these rps again T.T. Aw well, that aside there are numerous other Rp map makers listed, I bet I could even make a top twenty if I wanted to1 ^_^
