I'm italian so sorry if my english isn't so much correct..

i'm trying to color the name of a unit.

For example, if i wanna call my unit "Space Loller" and i want that name to be written in yellow, what i have to write?

http://www.staredit.net/wiki/Colors_list
There is a list of all the colors. Some colors cannot be used in breifing and game names or forces.

By the way, I lived in italy for 2 and a half years. I was on Sardinia. It was very very nice.

yeah i saw this list, but i don't know where to put the code.

I mean: i go to modify the name, i write "Terran Loller", and then i suppose i have to put somewhere the code <03>, but... where? I tried to use it like in html:

<03>Terran Loller</03>

but it doesn't work XD

Nice, Sardinia. I live in Emilia Romagna.

In the box where the unit name is, put <17>Name.

It depends on your editor. For staredit and it's derivates (Xtra, Fartyedit) you have to copy those small boxes that are displayed on the right in front of the name.

ScmDraft and Starforge accept the arrow bracket tag <03>.
Example for ScmDraft:
<03>Terran Loller

So you're telling me that ingame that freak with an M4 has the standard cyan color? No way.
Are you sure you're hosting the right version? Maybe you saved the map in the wrong folder?
Or maybe you have 2 units with the same name and placed the uncolored one by accident?

ingame the name for that units, if i leave there the code "<17>", appears with the name:

"<17>Freak with an M4"

written in Cyan.

Now i cancel the <17>...

my version is 1.16 (i suppose it upgrade itself when you upgrade starcraft, right?).

Lol...
Hint 1: He isn't using SCMDraft
Hint 2: SCXE or regular SCCE?
Hint 3: He is using Regular SCCE.
Copy and paste the "blocks" to color the names.

Try copy+pasting this...
"Freak with an M4 1$"
not including the quotes...

The reason it doesn't work is that he's using regular Staredit instead of ScmDraft. That screen is not how the unit settings look like in ScmDraft.
