I've got no idea what switches are, but all i know is that they benefit a map ALOT.
Most of the Cat n Mouse maps have 'em. The only way i make my Cat n Mouse maps is by copying
triggers from:
1. Cat n Mouse Jungle 2.2-5.4-random 5.5
2. Cat n Mouse Random Cheesers 11

But I want to make my own this time and I'm going to make it good. My only problem is that I dont know what or how to use switches. Doesn't anyone have any clue as to what switches are please just HELP ME!

Hello

... you don't have to copy triggers... they are very simple to create.
switches are ... well... a switch, what else?
they start with the option "cleared"

there is a condition and an action with switches,
cond: switch
action: set switch

at the condition you check if the switch is set or cleared, you make it set/cleard in actions.
at the action you can set the switch:
Set, Clear, Toogle (toogles between set and clear (so if it was set, it get cleared, if it was cleared, it get set), random (it gets a random value (set or cleared)

here is an example:
We require: 1 switch 1 marine, 2 locations (X and Y)
We want to kill the marine when he enters the location X after he enterd the location Y.

2 triggers required:

Condition: Player 1 brings at least 1 Marine to Y
Action: Set switch 1

Condition: Player 1 brings at least 1 Marine to X
Condition: Switch 1 is SET
Action: Kill 1 Marine at X for Player 1

Hope that helps and good luck.

O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- below the minimap should be a thing that says "Overlay Settings" with a little + button in the corner, press the + to expand it, uncheck Use Defaults, then change "Tile Overlay" to "Height"

Sylph-Of-Space -- It would be so so so nice if SCMDraft had some kind of dedicated "walkability" view for the tilesets.
