Process Blocker?

Hey,

I'm looking for something to block processes from running. I've seen it mentioned here before but failed to find the thread.

E.g. if I don't want Bob.exe to run, I can add it to this program and it'll get blocked/killed, but I can let it go again whenever wanted.

Thanks.

Lots of virus protectors have this, is it like a virus or something? Depending on the situation it could be easier or harder to get what you want.

It's the software for the Microsoft Zune. One of the active processes breaks Age of Empires II, a game I enjoy (makes the screen constantly move to the top corner). I'd like to have Age of Empires II + Zune, but I need to stop ZuneBusEnum.exe whenever I want (then turn it back on later) without uninstall/reinstall.

Okay, so find the location of it in your computer, and when you need to end the process via task manager, does that work?

Ending process doesn't work..Obviously the first thing I tried. It just re-opens itself. :bleh:

Good idea with finding the thing on my computer though...I could change its extension / name temporarily *searches*.

End the service, in the run box, type in services.msc and then stop the service, see if it starts up after that.
