Portraits in before game starts briefing

Hello,

I was wondering if is it possible to change portraits in slots that are shown on screen before UMS map starts? I'm talking about the screen that usually explains what is map about etc. I know music is possible.

You can use the Show Portrait action in the mission briefing to show whatever portrait you'd like.

I meant like .jpg pics or whatever just like other then starcraft ones.

Only through modding, can't access that functionality just with regular mapping.

Since this thread is in Modding Assistance, I'm going to assume you want a modding solution. Are you using 1.16.1 or Remastered? The portrait formats are different between the two.

And if it's possible, how? I see a lot of options but nowhere to change portrait that displays in the briefing room. Let's say I want Jim Raynor's portrait to be my personal made pic, whatever file extension is needed.

I don't believe you can insert your own graphics with EUDs. Like others have said, you'd have make a mod and replace a unit's portrait with a custom one. And just so we're clear, a mod is not the same as using EUDs.

It was possible to do with EUDs prior to Remastered, but the Remastered EUD emulator doesn't let you do fun things like import files.

Closing this topic now because it's not modding related.
