Ever since oblivion and other stupid hacks have been avaliable the server seems to be real shit. I find that when I am in a game with about 3-4+ people it lags really bad. The lag is distinct in the fact that there is no drop screen that comes out and it neither gets faster or slower, just a very very slow lag. It seems to be caused by two or more people, their internets conflict or something which causes it. If one of them leaves the lag will dissapear. And if they are in seperate games they will not lag at all. Have any of you experienced this or know how to fix it? (other than killing all the hacks)
None.
This has nothing to do with hacks. StarCraft was not designed to be used with routers and almost no one has their routers set up properly so they lag when they play together.

The lag often happens when the new versions of oblivion and stuff come out. Of course it could just be a coincidence.

Well its like (U) said most people can't take 5 minutes to port foward which will cause lag. Also it won't let you host games. So yeah you might wanna check to see if you port fowarded.

I port forwarded and I still get lag. I have 6 red bars for a short period of time and then it goes away. I have always thought this was the weakness of the wireless connection at some points.

Most stupid thing i've ever heard.
I took ages trying to port forward, but all hopes failed because somebody changed the name//password so i can't get into my router to open the port anyways, so yes, I spent more then 5 minutes on port forward, I don't lag, but I can't host games, so Twitch if you'd be so kind enough to get on your knees and blow me, that'd be great.

Five minutes eh? If you'd taken FIVE SECONDS to flip your router over, you'd notice that on the bottom there is probably a sticker with the default user name and password for the router. Unplug the router for a few moments and plug it back in. Wham bam, name and password are reset.
