That doesn't solve the Hermes problem. (Though I was going to do that anyway.)

I've decided to switch the genre to an AoS instead of an MMORPG. However, there will still be some MMORPG elements: Your character is the same between games, items you get in one match are yours forever (until you sell them), etc.

Also, I had a few rough character ideas. Tell me what you think:

1) Children of Hephaestus will focus around building Forges. Each Forge generates and stores mana over time. If a Hephaestus player walks next to a Forge, he/she will get the stored mana. Alternatively, he/she can send a Contraption to pick it up for him. The Contraption must walk to the Forge then back to the son/daughter of Hephaestus before he/she gets the mana. Forges must be built pretty far apart. Hephaestus will have several different summoning spells as well.
2) Morpheus players' main spell will be their Sleep Elementals. This summon has no attack except for a manually-activated suicide attack which puts all nearby enemies to sleep temporarily. Other spells will support the Sleep Elemental. There is a max of one per player.
3) Athena characters will have the ability to take control of and buff spawns. (Athena is the goddess of strategy, among other things.)
