Fixed a problem with the creeps not running down the path.

Hi. If any of you have the time to take a look at my map I would love feedback! This is my first playable map, and I'm sure there might be errors (especially balance issues).

The idea behind this map is that you defend against creeps that you, and every other player purchases. I based it off of an old map named Chose ur d on ur own (not chose ur d) that I can no longer find since an unfortunate and unwilling format.

Features include:
  • Up to six players may play this map.
  • Ability to pick which race you start as (terran, protoss, zerg).
  • Ability to purchase heroes and upgrades for defending using ore.
  • Ability to purchase creeps with gas.
  • Creeps purchased are sent to every player.
  • Creeps are only sent after everyone is finished buying theirs.
  • You can send your wave whenever you want (after the above).
  • The next wave of creeps may not be bought until after everyone has finished killing (or dying from) the previous wave of creeps.
  • All leftover creeps (which would only occur if there are 5 or less players in the game) are removed after each wave in order to prevent the map from maxing.
  • A long and reasonably wide pathway for you to build your defenses on.
  • A lightswitch and terrain laid out so that even if you share vision with another player, it will not interfere with you when you have the lights off.
  • A ban island for red.

Chose the race that you wish to defend with. You only get to pick one.


Buy heroes for defending (or build buildings. Buildings that don't attack are free), and then buy upgrades for those units. All defenses require minerals (except the free buildings).


Heroes bought are sent to your "Wand."


Creeps must be bought in order to send a wave. After creeps have been put in the buffer you may place your creep buying civilian on the beacon with the data chip to send that civ to the Send Next Wave switch. Waves are sent when you feel like it, and only yours are sent when you chose to send.

Good ideas and systems, but REALLY poor execution

first of all, units should NOT fucking attack you.... please fix this FIRST. Order units to move, not attack. It ruined the game already for me...

Second, there should be a time limit for people to pick to buy creeps, as ppl will take fucking forever...
Thirdly, what's the point of allowing the player to get the next wave of creep IF THEY ALREADY HAD TO CHOOSE TO SEND CREEPS IN THE FIRST PLACE ??

Once everyone has finished picking creeps or has reached the time limit WHICH YOU REALLY SHOULD PUT IN! ! ! !... The wave should all come at the same time.

Other than that, the map may have worked. Tho, you still won't stop ppl from not buying any creeps as early creeps are simply feed for heroes. I guess it may work.. but since the game is broken (due to the fact that you get attacked....) ... I wouldn't know.

I assumed the point of the attacking units was that they actually attack you. That just reminds me of a PvP Korean Defense.

No way... the buyable Zealot .. called Spartan ^.^ (btw, i Loved the unit names) had 100 dmg.. and I checked the other creeps.. they all had high dmg...

100 dmg kills sunkens in 2 hits, each costs 1 min.. but spartan only costs 5 mingas... which is achievable by second round....

Thanks for the feedback. After posting this I publicly tested it and saw that having people able to wait for others to buy would be a problem (I did it myself, and it really messed things up when it got down to 1v1 because after I spammed him, he spammed me, and etc. Just kept going back and forth with no end). I am not quite sure what to do, or how to fix that problem where they attack you. I could add a timer, but I don't see how it would matter if I were unable to fix those glitches first. Perhaps I should make the map open source?
