I can no longer map due to an absence of a computer, but it needs to be done before SC2.
Me and kolts made a nice little spell system a while ago. There were about 6 or 8 class of spells. (fire, ice, dark, light, etc.) And 4 or 5 spells for each class.
The easy to use menu we had allowed you to bind 4 spells of your choice.
This meant you could customize your hero to an extent not commonly found or as easily accessible as we had.
Elemental Duels, my old map, was an 8 player arena map.

That had a save system recording your exp and class.
So the idea is, there needs to be an 8 person arena map, with easy accessibility, leveling up and a save system.
The spells have to be using some sort of mobile grids and have nice effects to create a game of quality and not some tacky 'spawn 3 zealots to aid you.'
This means vHP can be used with no slowing of units and effectively.
A save system is an absolute must. It should record levels and any added features (items?)

The result of this is an arena based map with a great amount of customization.
I envisioned game hosts being along the lines of: "Ele Duels 60+" which I think is an amazing thing for a starcraft map to achieve.
