I was just wandering around SEN and found a link to a site called Vile Gaming. Then I saw a link labeled Maplantis

I kind of just raised an eye brow.

Yeah I remember vilegaming. They tried to buy maplantis but I said no. I'm not entirely sure what they're trying to do. Maplantis isn't maplantis because of the name, maplantis is maplantis because of the community, the rich features, my administration, the support of the community, etc.

I'm not entirely sure what he's trying to accomplish by taking the name. I mean, unless he rips off direct content and graphics from my website, he's technically not doing anything illegal there until then. But the only reason he'd use the same name is if he was attempting to trick the same visitors into thinking they are one in the same, which maplantis was a very close community and isn't stupid, would instantly know the site isn't run by me.

I still own the domain as well. I guess it's a good reminder to point it back to SEN. I'll point it to static maplantis actually, might as well.

Thing is people don't go to SEN or Maplantis because of the name, they go there because me, IP, moose are innovators. We do cool, original things. Original content. Etc.

Really, I don't even see why anyone should actually care. It's beneath our radar. You give him attention, that's what he wants.

I was just bringing up the subject, I find it hard to believe someone could simply come up with the same name. Then even more so after posting about it here, especially when everyone here says that the creator has been seen around a few times.

Just wanted to see if anybody knew what the hell was up with the copypasta.

Mostly in the form of the constantly improving features, is what I was trying to get across. "Content" is probably the wrong word because the content is all user submitted.
