Here's a 2 player map that I just made. I would try 4 player, but I don't understand rotational symmetry. :( The mineral blocks have 64 minerals each (too much, too little?), and the block in the middle expo has 32. The ramps leading into the corner expos are big enough to only allow small units through (SCVs, Marines, etc...). The minerals in the middle expo are 1000 each. Sorry if the mineral lines aren't that great; I'm not very good with diagonal mineral lines. :| Doodads aren't complete yet. Tell me what you think of it.

The sword and the faith

Remove center expo and temple to make the map less tight. Place ramps from the center going into each of the ravines, widen the ones already there. Connect the temple blocked expos to the ravines. Make the mineral backdoors shorter, maybe 2 mineral fields wide. Deco could be better but that can wait until you finalize it.

Edit: I realize you messed up the symmetry on the ramps near the mid. Remove those sprites, and reposition the backwards ramp you have in place, it isn't pointing in the right direction in comparison to the one on the other side. In fact, leave it, make the same ramp on the other side, and just put in the one that's supposed to correspond to the one on the other side due to the current mistake.

Edit 2: Since we're connecting those templeblocked expos, I say take away the gas, and give it to the current minonlys, which you should make high raised jungle islands out of. Then add a ramp with a sprite, say a prison or a temple blocking it to the nat.

Image:

(Xs mean remove sprite / make min path narrower, squares are for adding a blocking sprite.)

UPDATE
- Did what Excalibur said
- Changed terrain a little bit
- Added doodads so that tanks can't siege there

I'll try to spice up the terrain more once I get closer to a final version.

EDIT: Whoops, forgot to add gas to the raised jungle minonlys! I'll add those to in the map.

The sword and the faith

Give gas to the islands. Other than that, more deco and doodads and it looks good to me. Perhaps connect the two adjacent ramps to the ravine but that's it.
