I know the target building can be changed from the Command Center to something else, but can the ability be replicated in some way?

What do you mean by "target building"?

Sorry if I wasn't clear.

For the Queen's Infest Terran Command Center Ability, Firegraft has an exe edit to change from targeting a Terran Command Center to targeting another unit or building.

I'm hoping there's some way to make a similar ability that can target another building, say a Supply Depot, to make an Infested Supply Depot (Random example).

Sleeping wolves wake hungry.

Mind control and triggers could work.

But then you can infest the structure regardless of its hitpoint level. >.> Plus you have to cannibalize one of the targetting flags or you could "infest" any unit.

There will be a way to make more than one infestable building in a month or two, btw. :O

You can't duplicate infest. Indeed, last time I tried, you couldn't even change the building.

There is an exe edit that can change the building. However, there can only be 1 infestable building/unit at a time.

Yes, but it doesn't work properly.

How so?

Have you tried it?

It works for me.

What version of StarCraft, and Firegraft are you using?

In my GrayCraft mod, I've needed Nexus to be Infestable. I've just switched Nexus with CCenter (ID entries) and it worked - Nexus became Infestable and got after Queen's job beautiful zergish overlay ;) It needed also change of starting buildings for both races (and some requirements).

In case of more than one, maybe try with "Use Weapon Targeting" flag in Orders.dat for Infest order, link it with some unused weapon in weapons.dat and maybe it'll work (tough little chances, but I have no other idea how to solve this).

Oh_Man -- whereas just "press X to get 50 health back" is pretty mindless

Oh_Man -- because it adds anotherr level of player decision-making where u dont wanna walk too far away from the medic or u lose healing value

Oh_Man -- initially I thought it was weird why is he still using the basic pre-EUD medic healing system, but it's actually genius

Vrael shouted: I almost had a heart attack just thinking about calculating all the offsets it would take to do that kind of stuff
With the modern EUD editors, I don't think they're calculating nearly as many offsets as you might imagine. Still some fancy ass work that I'm sure took a ton of effort
