So recently me and my 4 friends have started playing starcraft regularly again. And we want something that is 4 players, difficult, and not pointless. We don't want a defense game. What we are looking for is a map people have spent time on, so it's not ridiculously simple. We played Test of survival a lot, but we only have 2 versions, is there any better versions out there? Also what are the good 4 player coop maps that are out there?

If you want competitive games, I'd recommend:
Uberena, Legion. The former is basically a team micro game (that is fun), the second is the most awesome massing map ever.

None of those Aeon of Strife are the one I was talking about, but the 2007 one is a close knockoff. I suggest regular AoS 2, the other "insane" is a rip off. AoS 2 has both a coop and a competitive setting. Just make sure you all go to the same side.
That fate and destiny looks fine to me.
Also, I have no idea why people are still suggesting competitive maps for you. I thought you were pretty clear in your wording.

Army's Mini Games Map (with 128 Minigames) is great for playing with friends as I can atest to playing it at some lan parties. However you compete against each other on that.
I have a ton of tactical survival maps where you work as a team, unfortunately the folder isn't sorted into the best ones/not as good/old versions. That and I don't have it uploaded (kinda big) but yea get on USWest sometime and drop by op mggl and I can definitely get you some more of those kind of maps :-).
