Is there a program that I can download that will allow me to type while watching a movie in full screen? Like it runs in the bg?
None.
Can't vista , like, changes windows opacity or something? Also, isn't their some writing shit with opacity change in X-tra edit?

get yourself a keylogger
Normally only the program that has focus (is active) gets input the keyboard buffer. Would be quite a mess otherwise.
The transparency thing would work however, as the movie is just played in the background. Trillian, a messenger program allows setting window transparency to 10% (barely visible) then you can type and later copy everything to normal notepad from the history or text window.
If you use ZoomPlayer then right click and select Always on Top. Then you just open notepad in the background, resize ZoomPlayer to your liking(not maximize) and make sure notepad has focus (Alt+Tab).
You'd have to check your media player to see if it has a Always on Top feature or not, I think most do though.

I was gonna recommend a keylogger, yeah.
fuck you all
Wouldn't a keylogger still let the input reach his media player?

Yea it would, which COULD cause undeseriable results. Your best off finding a pen and paper lad, or a nice laptop

Here's an AutoHotKey compiled script that will intercept what you type and send it to a file named Typey.txt (Doesn't need to be open) in the same directory, to close it right click the icon in the system tray and select exit. You can't backspace/delete because I was lazy and didn't add them, so don't make typos
.
EDIT: Esc to kill it if your watching something fullscreen.

The compiled script doesn't need autohotkey installed.
