Well! It seems with so much humans, it's always inevitable we have morons, pedophiles, killers, racists, and anyone else deserving an a good ass kicking. Personally, I believe this should be in serious discussion, but I decided to put it in a section according to the worth of it. Human stupidity! I've always been a victim to such, and basically anyone that has a view that's not of the popular norm will as well. And one thing worth bitching about (which I'm sure most of fellow SEN will disdain) is patriotism.

Patriotism, it's not exactly horrible, but lets be honest, sometimes it's a horrible mindset to have. In my own opinion, people shouldn't be proud of their imaginary borders, and all countries, lifestyles, lives should be seen equally. Of course, this logical argument I propose is often times granted the bitching of an idiot, in the styles of such - "WHAT?! YOU DON'T LIKE YOUR COUNTRY? YOU DON'T LIKE FREEDOM? YOU ARE A RETARD"

Another thing worth bitching about is the old fashiond dumbass ideal "We're good, they're evil." Which is basically when people will believe their side is the good side, they are the angels, and the enemy is simply bad, evil. Whom can we thank for that? Well, nationalism actually, but it doesn't stray too far from patriotism.Of course it isn't bad being patriotic, you definitely have to respect where you live, you're lifestyles, and as that saying goes, there's no place like home.

Overall, in my eyes anyway, Patriotism isn't bad, it's just human stupidity takes it too far like most things, and sometimes can taint it.

Now, I don't want this topic to turn into one of everyone bitching. Hopefully we can all just analyze and contribute the advantages, the disadvantages, and the problems with Patriotism.

Patriotism can also stem from pride in one's country and the country's ideals, in which case it isn't stupid at all.

It's definitely easier to live in a country if you love it, as opposed to hating it. and no SSJ, it's not at all for that reason. edit: and up here in canada we use celcius... also on that map you provided i dont see more than 8% of canada with anything below -20f/-28c so i dunno where you pulled your figures out your ass the only places that cold are the poles and greenland, which isnt part of canada.
