I have just updated TS to v1.6 ... :O .. but I'm still not ready to do open testing yet.

Please posts comments/suggestions.. and even complaints :C...

Every hero should be retested :O... cause there's enough changes for all to be affected. Feel free to play public! Any ideas are appreciated.

Ya, i love how my post gets deleted AS i edit it and "Sounds pretty awesome" isnt. ANYWAYS i like the role on engineer as i played TS i always thought spec ops should build a disabled tank, good to see its being put to use.

Initial Hero Theorycrafting:
- Demon/Phantom look somewhat overpowered, but I really like the concept of them.
- Psion is going to have to mana whore like crazy to be useful, but will be decent lategame. Damage needs a major boost in bonus, it's getting +2.5 for all intents and purposes. I hope the arbiter is really hard to kill. Does L4 also shift L2/L3? If not, that's a pretty worthless spell unless there is a really severe mana drain on the L1.
- Marine looks like it's back to iRape damage with an even better L1 spell for PvP and more HP than in 1.4M. Ew.
- Really like dual upgrade concept for Mech. Makes it interesting and will hopefully solve the Mech's pure power problem.
- Assault...errr Engineer looks like it has options to Exp pretty well but it's going to be completely worthless in PvP and early game. A summoner with no maneuverability. And you can't even do anything summoner-ish until Level 3...? No Refinery = armored assim concept either...> That'd fit really nicely with him I think, I hope it gets added. I would like to see him still have the Nuclear Ghost and it should do a ton of damage and not be limited to 1, that plus a bunker could redeem this class. Anyway, he's interesting but will probably suck hard as is. It was hard enough getting Firebat kills with 3 stun spells, with 0?
- DM maelstrom is 62? Was that in M3, it wasn't yellowed...?

New General:
- Healing Ward - Volt/Psion/Mech out of luck? I guess it makes up for them being immune to maelstrom, somewhat.
- Mana Pool - This is going to encourage playing defense in your base even more, and LM+Mana Pool+Abusing the hell out of Reaver/Storm splash is going to be even more bullshit to play against than it is now. Being able to build multiple pools means that he'll be able to use this strategy outside of the base, too, and be all but untouchable.
- Assimilator income rate still the same as in M3? I hope not, it needs to be upped, but not as high as it used to be. Middle would be nice.
- Cannons back to 50 damage? It wasn't yellowed.
- Drone+Infested Terran spawns = thank you.


Again, this is theorizing. We'll see if I'm right. =p I can't wait to play it.

Earth demon is actually very fun to play with.
Phantom's hallus can be useless because they can be infentified.
I dont like psion IMO .....It's hard to play with and annoying......The spells are too weak
I feel its cool to have the wraiths as spells for mech. It makes mech more interesting.
I dont think the engineer would do well because it has concussive dmg and it would be hard to destroy buildings.
Broodlings should turn back to 50 hp. It would take 2-3 more ups for slow attacking heros (i.e. medic, mech) to kill the spawn. It would be hard to farm

He does have a bunker of course, but he no longer has Nuclear Ghosts as the Marine now has them... making the Engineer kind of useless. A Firebat in a bunker can only actually hit a few heroes.

I am at work right now, so i can't upload the map XD..
Anyways.. there are some problems with the Engineer which I need to fix.. So i'll add in the "armored assim" and see how it plays. Oh, and I forgot about the assim -> money problem.. yeah it was too quick the last time I was playing.. I'm going to make it... cost 130 to gain 15 minerals.. which means every assim every 540 DC's gives 30 minerals to your base.. once it hits 130 minerals, your team gain 15 minerals... it was 100 before... maybe 150'd be okay too .. ^^ . we'll c
- Demon is actually underpowered as of its first play (by Deno).. its HP is low, and it is too easy to kill its obs during the day.. plus blue had sci-vessels :P..
- Phantom does crazy damage.. but seems to be hard to micro... also, the real phantom is easy to pick out :O.. BUT, i'm not changing him yet...
- Psion was said to have too much HP.. but i'm not changing it yet. It's spells are actually very very useful. And yes, Void shifter also moves l2/l3... (obviously :rolleyes: .. it'd suck if it doesn't)

Engineer seems .. weird.. so far... i don't know... it requires a bit more testing for sure... And it's problem is that some of the disabled units aren't "attackable" or "clickable" even during the day. I don't know if that's true (since i could click on them), but Deno said he couldn't target them. Oh, and Engineer has +6 dmg right now.

There're some mistakes on the changelist which i'm going to fix... and I'm going to add stuns for demon's L4 (as its slow down trigger isn't working :S)

btw.. thnx for liking the concepts :P.. I like them a lot too XD..

after playing as engineer it seems absolutely useless the longer the game goes on the the only method to win is spam mine drone, turrets get completely useless after early game; there is a bug as orange that you cannot make sci ves until you get spell3, i had my goon sitting there until i got spell3 so thats confirmed.

There is a bug where as purple or orange lurker a red psion used his spell3 and after sucking me in it insta killed me. I'd honestly never play as engineer again unless the area to control turrets was MUCH larger as controlling a max of 2.5(2 mixed/tanks 3 bunkers) at a time is simply useless, also using the bunker is now pretty useless aswell as you cant control turrets from inside.
