(If a moderator sees this, please delete my other post?)

I am looking for some good terrainers to help give me an idea of what style to use on terrain for my map.

I have decided to do the terrain myself but would like to see if anyone has suggestions as to how to make really good looking terrain, NON-isometric, within a 20x10 grid frame.

Maybe if anybody's interested they could submit mini-projects and compare, sort of like a contest, and at the same time help me decide what sort of style to use.

(I will not use any of the projects submitted, only to get an idea of how to style a non-isometric square.)

Tileset is jungle.

I think this is a cool idea even if I didn't need help with ideas, please participate. ^^

That may not work for small 20x10 sets of terrain. Crescent dyne is too cluttered. In my opinion, you have to be more efficient with space sue, since the player won't have a lot of room to move around in.

I agree. Lethal explained that he was going to use a grid to move units and such when he worked on CD because the lack of movement space.

O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- below the minimap should be a thing that says "Overlay Settings" with a little + button in the corner, press the + to expand it, uncheck Use Defaults, then change "Tile Overlay" to "Height"

Sylph-Of-Space -- Unless I'm dum (possible)

Sylph-Of-Space -- It would be so so so nice if SCMDraft had some kind of dedicated "walkability" view for the tilesets.
