AoS Idea:

-Game based on Diving Powers and the relation between Mortals and 'power of gods'

-Rather than picking a hero, players choose one of 8 divine powers to inherit.

-Starting: Players begin the game as a Mortal. All mortals are a terran Civilian. They have a set weapon and all mortals have 3 techniques available (Z,D,T)

-At any time, players may use (K) hotkey to 'borrow' their god's powers. As in, they will be incarnated as a new unit form (depending on selected power).

-This transformation will require some kind of divine energy to initiate. When this divine energy is depleted, players revert back to 'mortal' While in mortal form, players slowly regain this divine energy. It could also be rewarded for kills. Like Spawns or HP, the maximum amount of this divine energy can be increased.

-The 3 techniques for mortals will be the same, however, while transformed, players inherit techniques unique to their powers. (Z,D,T) This allows for a total of 6 spells with one building.

Comments? Suggestions? Would this sort of system interest you? Would you enjoy using it?

So basically Custom hero Wars, but with a SSJ4 mode that makes everything wtfbbq powerful, but is extremely costly. Bleh.

No actually not like that at all >< the secondary mode would not be ultra powerful, the only reason it is costly is because it would be unique depending on which power you chose at the start of the game. Also, the 3 spells available while in mortal form are the same for each player and not custom at all. Sorry for any misunderstandings.

I'm assuming you mean PvP AoS, and not PvE AoS(1st AoS). I suggest we refer to "AoS-type" maps as either AoS PvP or AoS PvE just to be clear. Or hell we would have a fucking council and decide on whether or not we want AoS to mean AoS PvP by default.

[back to your idea]
I pondered your Mortal to God scenario focus for about 1 minute and came up with a better idea for you. Characters can start off as civs as you like, but only for about the first 1-4 minutes(depending on how what they want their graduation to be). Scattered throughout the map where the battle is being fought there will be shrines to different Gods. The player can venture with their civ across the perilous map to say the Sun god's shrine. When in the temple they will be challenged with a mini micro game unique to the kind of unit management they will be doing the majority of their time playing. They emerge a Disciple (unique to the temple), which they will remain until late game.

Now you can remain a Disciple and focus on getting stronger and still winning the game, or you can work the Road to God-hood. If you've played Mission Style RISK(not the sc game) then you will know where I'm going with this. When you've completed these various tasks (eg. #kill an enemy hero #2Destroy a spawner #3Kill and allied hero) you become the respective god. I won't go into god mode mechanics, but the god states should act like rigged Temple Siege Lv4's so the game should end in about 10 minutes after someone becomes one. The occasional epic god fights will be awesome.

So, using the changing spell set system I suggested, you would say have 1 as a civ (Basic Skills), 1 as disciple (Good spells), and a final one for God mode (UBER RAPE spells) with no alternations?

Okay so basically, These (up to) 6 people live in ancient times or something and worship different Gods/Elements/Powers whatever you want to call them. Ordinarily, they are mortals with their bows and basic skills, but after they inherit the specific power, they are able to borrow it from their 'god' and they inherit 3 new powers.

NudeRaider -- PSA: ASUS apparently decided their RMA department needs to "become profitable" and for a while now outright tries to scam customers. They were called out on it a year ago, promised to change, but didn't. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7pMrssIrKcY so my recommendation: Stop buying ASUS, and if you already have and need something RMA'd, make sure to not let them bully you into paying.
