Dapper, I've just seen 'Matchstick Men'. At first, Cage's performance seemed a bit awkward and forced for some reason, but his character grew on me in the first 15-20 minutes and I enjoyed the movie very much. It's definately the best 'con-artist' movie I've seen. Thanks a lot for recommending it. :)

'Taken' seems interesting because of Liam Neeson, I'll check it out once the DVDRip comes out.
I've had it for like a month now...

I'm not in the US or Canada. Such things take much longer to get here.

My Grandfather probably has more like 400 something... I haven't been keeping up to date. Could be higher. He has like a zillion VHS's too. Hundreds. Lots of taped stuff like olding boxing matches mixed in. It's awesome.

It's funny how you think you have to defend yourself just because someone says he's got more movies at home than you.

I just finished watching Lars and the New Girl, it's not any of these. But it's one of the best movies ever.

It's not exactly defending myself if I'm pointing out that they're not even mine. Also he said he has more than a thousand. Whatever. This is defending myself. That wasn't. :P

Dapper, here is a list of movies I haven't seen:

A History of Violence
Runaway Train
Bullitt
The Car - not sure which movie you're talking about, but if it's the horror one then I've seen it and didn't like it
The Driver
Duel - can't remember seeing any movie with such a name, and there are lots of those according to IMDB. Which one do you mean in specific?
The Warriors
Rebel Without A Cause
Lawrence of Arabia
Dog Day Afternoon
Jackie Brown - I wanted to see this for a long time while I was in Cardiff, but couldn't find it.
Flags of Our Fathers
Magic
Session 9
Signs
Vanilla Sky - I've heard praise about Cruise's performance in this movie, but never saw it
What Lies Beneath
Frequency
Natural Born Killers
Rounders - I don't like Damon bacause I think he has no personality (though it sometimes fits roles perfectly), but Edward Norton is very impressive, IMO.

Could you just pick the ones that are a must-see, because I don't have all the time in the world.

Nude: Leon and The Professional are different movies. The Professional is about a guy who decided to kill some african countrie's president because he was too cruel to his people. I've seen Lucky Number Slevin and liked it.

EcHo: I'll check out Slumdog Millionaire when it comes out as a DVDRip for sure. The story sounds interesting to me, now they gotto impress me with excecution.

Moose: I've seen it, and I thought it was quite good.

Good thing you've seen most of them. Here are the one's I would recommend most (with random notes attached):
* = I haven't seen it
** = "must see"

Vanilla Sky**
What Lies Beneath**
Rounders**
Signs** (lots of people seem not to like this one but I found it very entertaining)
Flags of Our Fathers (directed by Clint Eastwood)
Magic** (horror flick with Jack Nicholson)
Duel** (directed by Spielberg)
Jackie Brown (solid movie but my least favorite from QT other than Grindhouse)
The Driver
Frequency
Natural Born Killers*
Lawrence of Arabia*

I use the term 'must see' lightly. I'm not trying to necessarily give you all '5 star' movies, but I think there are certain movies that are good to see just so you can say that you've seen them. Also some of the older ones like "Duel" and "The Driver" are good to see what an old chase movie was like.

As for the last two on that list, I've seen neither, but they're supposed to be really good. Lawrence of Arabia is all over top 100 movie lists (often in the top 10), and Natural Born Killers just from other opinions that I've heard. While I'm thinking about it, have you ever seen "The Unusual Suspects"? Another supposedly great movie that I've yet to see.

It's caleld 'The Usual Suspects' (don't worry, I also made the same mistake before I saw it). :P Yes, I liked it a lot. It's one of those movies that you have to see twice to fully appreciate it, IMO.

Oh? That's interesting, because the subtitle of 'Leon' is 'The Professional'.
