You better act fast. Foreigners also need to take the ACT. Most Koreans come to New York because there are better oppurtunities here, and you would probably end up in Flushing or Korean Town, aka 34st Manhattan. Check out the Art Institute of New York, AI for short. You're most likely going to need a portfolio. Good Luck.

Two jobs sounds tough. One might end up stressing you out a whole lot, making it difficult toi work on the other.

The ACT simply put, is an exam that you need to take before going to an American College. The exam tests your knowledge of English, Math, Reading and Science.

I will repeat what I said; I know of no university which requires both the SAT I and ACT.

I know that art colleges prefer ACT over SAT, but it doesn't really matter. There is also some other foreign test foreign people have to take.

The TOEFL? In general, international students don't have to take it; it is simply an option to demonstrate English fluency if they are not good enough at English to score highly on the critical reading section(s) of the SAT I/ACT.

ALL PRAISE YOUR SUPREME LORD CORBO

Actually, You're always asked for the TOEFL. At least in the universities I wanted to go required the TOEFL. Hell even an art school in Costa Rica required it for some odd reason.

It's either that or you spend a whole semester wasting your time proving that you know english until they accept you.

fuck you all

Strange.. most of the places I've seen will take the standard requirements for native English speakers if you prefer to submit them (example).

For non-native English speakers: You have two options: 1) take the tests required for native English speakers (see above), or 2) you may take the TOEFL and two SAT Subject Tests, one in math (level 1 or 2) and one in science (physics, chemistry, or biology e/m).

If you have been using English for less than 5 years or do not speak English at home, we strongly suggest that you take the TOEFL.

I am non native english speaker, thus, they required me to take the TOEFL. I didn't know you could just take the SAT or ACT. It would probably be just harder, though.

It definitely would be, considering that most native speakers still do pretty bad on the reading and writing sections of the SAT.

They're not really all that hard, if you take it upon yourself to learn vocabulary and the more nuanced rules of grammar like parallel structure and extended pronoun references.

Wow, VFS is really cool place. :cool2: but I consider money..
I'm afraid but there's too expensive for me to pay. $52750 for 1 year..!
Thus, would you mind recommend another place?
I've kept finding some art colleges, but I'm not sure  where is exactly I should go.

oh, and guys. Would you mind explain math level 1??
idk what is level 1 or 2. I searched about it on Google, but it confusing me, now. yea.

Thanks to everybody, anyways.

P.S. If there are some wrong grammar, could you fix the improper grammar for me?

The SAT II Math Level 1 is math up to essentially Geometry. Math Level 2 covers Algebra II advanced concepts, up to elementary questions regarding matrix algebra and complex analysis (don't worry about these, according the released tests on average 10-30% of test takers get these right). In California, for example, Math Level 1 covers through the 9th grade math standard, and Math Level 2 through the 10th grade math standard.

In my opinion, the Level 2 test is a decent evaluation of your mathematics education excluding calculus, whereas the Level 1 test is a silly joke. Some colleges, such as MIT, claim to weight each test equally, but "in the context of your coursework" i.e. if you had not completed a course in Algebra II and Trigonometry when you took the SAT II, you would not be penalized for the Math Level 1 test. Other schools, such as the University of California, accept only the Level 2 test.

If you have really any decent skill in math, I would recommend taking the Level 2 test.

Oh_Man -- because it adds anotherr level of player decision-making where u dont wanna walk too far away from the medic or u lose healing value

Oh_Man -- initially I thought it was weird why is he still using the basic pre-EUD medic healing system, but it's actually genius

With the modern EUD editors, I don't think they're calculating nearly as many offsets as you might imagine. Still some fancy ass work that I'm sure took a ton of effort
[2024-5-06. : 12:51 am]
Oh_Man -- definitely EUD
