I've recently switched from Cable to DSL, but from this change, I was not able to host games. IP helped me fix that problem but recently a new problem sparked. I can't play any games with more than 2 people, otherwise I would lag the whole game. I also seem to see people with 2gs in games (Which means I'm lagging). I have no problem outside of Battle.Net, with downloads and all, since it is at like 200kb/s. How can I fix this lag on SC?
None.
Bet you saw this coming,
Why upgrade what already works? My DSL downloads at 350kbps (Sometimes 375 on good days) and I never have an issue with it (Other than my security system [Stupid ADT] cutting the phone line when it goes off D:<). Personnaly Ive never used cable but with all the complaints I hear, I refuse to get it. How much of an upload speed you get echo? ;o

Around 400+. DSL lagged a lot and the reason why I changed was because the bill came up to $146. I hate how Verizon gives hidden fees.
None.
I can the same strange problem when I'm on my school's crazy fast internet.

Enable Filter IDENT on your router?

Make sure your ip is still the same (192.168.1.2) with the ipconfig command in dos. If it changed, you'll have to change the port settings in your router again.
None.
Yeah, my IP address is still the same.
None.
Ha, Zpothu had the same problem. Then he bought a new computer, modem, and changed his IP address just to make sure it would never happen again.
Me and Blasto had to stop playing together while with him. It was just far too annoying.
None.
Forward your ports? I've found that playing with people who are behind the same router as you causes problems unless you change which port one computer uses, maybe that's the problem?
None.
I can't play with public people. I did forward my ports. I was able to host and such but it was just a sudden change recently.
None.
Only if you're internet provider and your cable provider is the same, we don't even have cable

Having a lot of televisions connected will slow down an internet connection. I had 4 televisions connected, and 5 cables that went no where. This slowed my internet over 50%! and I had it like this for ever 2 years... I never have had DSL so i don't know if that information will help.
I said I had cable. And the internet lag is not a problem. My problem is that I can't seem to play with other people because I lag, except games with 2 people, including me.
None.
Sounds like your router didnt forward it right. Just to clarify, 6112 UDP and not TCP (If your router isnt good and you put it on both cause you werent sure, TCP MAY cause conflict)
