I started a game with Kevin and Doodle and desynced a few minutes in.

fun mod! ...damn wish I had time to show up. Last time I played I didn't know how to activate the Ion bombers and got stuck on an island while everyone else was on LAND. Ya and I was going big bulldog rush! So some ppl got off the hook. ... cough cough Polaris and his "kafucking boom" comment last CU mod night would have never happened if I hadn't randomly got the only "island" starting spot. Krayzee is mad because every mod night he goes to I destroy him before he has any chance of figuring out what he is doing.

It's a waste of time for individuals who are new to playing something and never get taught by the creators, then by suffering defeat from ones knows the mod well enough. You have done this many times, Excalibur, and it is just pissing me off. Then later you just taunt the fuck out of me. Especially if you don't teach anyone how to play, and really expects them to learn it by themselves, there's nothing good to do.

And I have said this many times, yet you are still taunting the fuck out of me according to that screenshot. What's the point of playing then? You laughing?

I have to stand on Krazy's side this time. I have been notified from many people that you're always an ass to newcomers, thus, the reason why WoA doesn't go to mod nights, sub, devilesk and many other newcomers. For some reason they always come to the mod nights I don't assist and that you do and they complain.
Now I can do nothing about it but ask you to be nice with new people and non modders, don't go too hard on them, specially if they had never before played the mod.

Also, Krazy, there's always people willing to warm up around 1 hour before mod night. If there aren't you could always make a shout and I'm pretty sure that at least kevin will be there

Losing isn't fun, but think of how good it will feel when you finally learn the mod and crush your foes.

Veterans should team up with newbies not gang up on them that's true. FFA's are especially gay and alienating to newcomers imo. Vs. computers can be fun for newcomers because they can join in with whatever forces they can muster, but those get old quick so I'm not a big fan of comp stomps. Mod compstomps are a different ball game tho as most of the time the creators go absurd with the difficulty level. .... cough cough. We need some good UMS maps taylormade for specific mods. The fact is most modders suck at melee and the irony is that's all that ever gets played at mod night. My next mod plans to change that.

If the mod has computer AI support, like CU did, then learn the mod by playing it in single player first. Also, ask for a computer opponent if you're new to the game. I mean if veteran players are as good as they think they are, they should be able to beat a team of you and a computer right?

If you didn't whine like a bitch and played the warm up games that happen at almost every mod night, I wouldn't say a word.

I don't always know the mod very well. In fact this week it looks to me like maybe deathman's latest mod might get the slot being that it's the newest mod out. I've yet to play it. And so like EVERYONE ELSE I'll learn it at the warm up games. There have been times where I haven't known the mod any better than you have and simply because I did better in basic melee areas that apply to any mod played in a melee setting, I beat you, and so you cried about it. My advice is to go to the warm up games, play more mods in general, and stop whining. That's why I target you, because you just cant seem to shut the fuck up.

Phobos and I were just discussing how most of the mappers come in, like devilesk and Krayzee have been ruining it for the rest of us when they attend, with their constant whining and bitching. They aren't willing to learn the mod, they have the chance. No one is going to stop them from having a couple games on their own. I come early and I stay late, and if anyone wanted to warm up or if a couple noobs wanna team me, I am always ready to go. We've done teams of various types, tons of different maps, and the fact is the people who have played more mods and are ready to adapt have an advantage that they can't do much about. What am I going to do about that? Lose? And for what? To make some person who hasn't attended half the nights I have feel better? Fuck that. And fuck anyone who says I should. They either come to the warm up games like everyone else, use AI if it's available, or they shut up and try to do better next time.

Let me know when they stop whining and start acting like they deserve a chance. None of these mappers have ever legitimately said 'Ex, I'm having a rought time with this mod you mind cooling down a little?' Instead, I get 'FUCK YOU EX THIS MOD IS RIGGED / THIS MOD SUCKS AND YOUR A DICK!', to which, I give them the same attitude they give me.

I've only attended a few mod nights and I'd have to say most of the ppl that ruin it are a bunch of lame asswipes who don't give a crap about modding anyways. "Develisk"? That guy is a total Kidiot. Sorry, I'm only basing this on his attitude at the mod night I attended with him there, but he didn't win my vote. No wonder he changed his user name.

I've played mods that have no business being played on Fa$te$t type maps as well as tons of other stupid kid games when all most of us want to do is play some melee games with some decent players. I've heard endless whining about imba, this mod sucks. blah blah blah. NO MOD SUCKS! ONLY PPL THAT DON'T MOD SUCK. IF YOU AREN'T A TRUE MOD FAN GTFO!

And if Ex is better than everybody else.. good for him. I haven't played enough games with him to judge, but if he's a poor winner, then he's probably a really terrible loser. *clears throat* But, well, I am not exactly happy with Ex roll steaming other members (word wise), for we need those extra new members.
But, if there's something that pisses me off, is when one of these people come in and start bitching in a non-corteous manner or a non-sarcastic way of how the mod is imbalanced or how they are getting pawned or other things as such. As to Krayzee, I've never realy seen him bitching, but I know about the way he is.

I still have present in my mind that mod night in which Krayzee took over the channel and started randomly kicking people all over the place. At first, it was hillarious, even when I was kicked, but then, getting kicked everytime you get in is ridiculous, I had to drop mod night.

As long as that kind of incidents don't happen again, or people don't start bitching ridiculously about how IMBA the mod is (pretty long for an explanation in parenthesis, but, the mod can't be really IMBA as long as tehre are others who are alive and strong), then everything's cool. In my humble opinion, we should let all of these guys in. And give them a chance. Later, you may discuss about what happened.

Now, the exception to this rule is Falkoner, I think it was him the one who only went to mod night to insult us right? Mind me if it wasn't him, for I don't remember.

C'mon, this is mod night, it was designed to have fun, and all we're doing is bitching each other. Play nice kids, please. We're not setting a good image not only for such an event as mod night is, but for modding and the clan itself.

I happen to attend that night and remember this too. Now attending mod night is a real hassle for me mainly because I live on the west coast. It's still daylight outside and there are plenty of other things I'd rather be doing. To top it off, I have to disconnect my router and do some other tedious things just to allow me to play online. Getting kicked out of the channel over and over by some kid wasn't cool. Eventually I left and I'm pretty sure that was the last modnight I attended.

New members are great, and modding could use some new recruits, but new kidiots can just stay away thnkyou. ... or just steamroll them.

I'd suggest that Mod Night have some changes made to it, but knowing Corbo, doing anything useful is right out.

I don't know if you have noticed but ALMOST ALL THE NEWCOMERS ARE MAPPERS. Even if they're closed minded noobs or pricks or whatever mod night is to have fun playing mods and the motto has always and will always be EVERYONE IS INVITED. That includes fags, real girls, boys, retards, mappers, modders and even emos. I can't do nothing about their whinning as much as I can do for yours right now. Be a grown up boy and just ignore the flames and whinnings from these people.

Well, you know, sometimes mod nights help mods for testing and sometimes they ARE imbalanced, but sometimes. And I'm pretty sure you can't say nothing either cause mod nights have helped you and all of us in this matter, testing.

Anyone has a clue why everytime I press a key a balloon appears next to my pointer? It got pretty annoying after replying to OVER NINE THOUSAND points.

I would host, but MY FUCKING ROUTER IS CURSED.
Otherwise, I could probably host Mod Night.
Its just simple. Make a game. Play it. Win/lose it. Repeat.

Note that AI games are much more sucessful, wonder why?
