Welcome to Speed Mafia, the new faster paced version of the SEN Mafia.

*^* ROLES IN PLAY *^*

TOWNSPERSON - The average, ordinary townsperson. Their limited powers include the power of persuasion, power of intellect (clue interpretation), and power of the vote.

MAFIA - They've invaded the town, and they each kill someone every night. They may or may not know the identity of other mafia, thus they may not all be on the same side.
The mafia's killing power is calculated by (X+1), where X is the number of mafia currently alive.

DETECTIVE - Each and every night, the Detective makes an "investigation" of some sort. He may choose either of the following:
1. Learn one person's alignment and role. The difficulty lies in persuading others to vote the way they should.
2. Ask me how many mafia voted for X on any given day. This power may not be used on a mayoral election.

PSYCHO - If the Psycho is lynched by the town, he gets to take a player of his choice with him to the grave. If the Psycho is attacked by the mafia, the Psycho dies but also "injures" his killer, who will be unable to attack the next night.

HACKER - The hacker may, once per night, hack data and change up the given clues per night so that at least one of them is pointing to a specified target of his choice.




*^* DIFFERENCES IN SPEED MAFIA *^*

(NOTHING IS FINAL. Any of these rules may change due to popular vote and/or neccessity in order for the game to run smoother. Expect minor changes for Speed Mafia II.)

- Day and Night will only take 24 hours each.
- You may only abstain ONCE per game, and not on the first day. This is to raise activity, and to lessen the waste of space used in the game. More action, more debate, more Mafia for all.
- If you are inactive for a game and you've requested for auto-signup, and have not posted in it, you will be forgiven for not being there, but if you do post, then dissappear, there will be conquences. The same goes for any new signers.
- The slighest sight of flaming will get you potentionally expelled from our game. Spam is taken lighter, but don't make it an issue.
- As we are not the actual staff of SEN, we cannot grant you mineral prizes. Don't ask.
- Unlike the current SEN Mafia, we have no power over stopping you from changing your avatar or signature for our game. However, it is shunned if you do so. The rule may always be changed.
- Please, make your votes clearly defined with a different color. Don't quote someone else.
- If during the night, a Mafia decideds to hit someone with a role that is also used during the night that won't matter when they're dead, day can commence without their role submission at our discretion.
- If you show a role PM or anyother form of proof of your role to anyone, you will be expelled.

Lingtown was a neighboring city of Moosetown, a good 10 miles away from the commotion of their Mafia problems and the like. It was mostly a city, a concrete jungle and well maintained... except for it's criminal problem. A man was pulling the strings of the Mafia located in this once glorious city, a dark and sinister man who many had believed was the sole cause of the Mafia's wrongdoings. Just who was he? Darkling, the mayor of the city, pondered this as he watched the city streets from the Town Hall.

Yes, all was peaceful... for the moment.

The leader of the Mafia had burst in, charged Darkling in his mayorific seat, and quickly got him pinned down to the floor, a knife at his throat. "It's about time the city lead itself for a change," the mysterious Godfather said, and sliced his blade... hitting nothing but air. The mayor, quick and agile, had already made it to the hidden shelf where he had a cache of weapons in the moment he would need them most, threw the doors open, and readied a 12 gauge shotgun. The Godfather's eyes widened. "Say hello to my ban hammer," the Mayor shouted out, and squeezed the trigger. With a rather loud blast, the Godfather was no longer standing in the same place.

...simply because of where he was now. The Godfather had brought the knife back up to his throat while removing the mayor of his shotgun, and uttered, "Tick, tock, mayor. Even my death will bring a hellish mark on the history of this city," and sliced his throat open. "Good night, sweet prince," the Godfather spat out, as he slowly exited the Mayor's office. But this simple mistake was soon his downfall: Darkling had brought out a concealed pistol, and with great aim, fired a single bullet, instantly impaling Godfather Greo's skull. Sadly, at the other end of the room was the fallen mayor, struggling to breathe, and with a final ounce of strength, Mayor Darkling wrote his final mesage:

"No time. Find the Mafia, with haste."

The town's "militia" had grouped up for a town meeting. No one really seemed to care too much about the Mayor's death save these dozen who have chosen to take vengeance into their own hands. This group of townspeople were made up of the most probable Mafians, and it was up to them and them alone to sort themselves out and find the real evil hiding under the city.

Tick, tock. The clock is ticking. The hour of reckoning is nigh, and no one save the dead would know the future of this struggle.

Until I can figure out some more clues, I'm voting DarkMarine.

Possible clues and connections:
Each "tick tock" refers to seconds passing. l)ark_SSJ9Kevin is the second person on the Participant list.

This may point to DarkMarine, since a marine is a military unit.

Perhaps you are correct about Paravin. I have found some evidence that points to him!

Paravin's avatar is a cat. Cats like playing with strings. I think this strongly points to Paravin!
