Evil Genius seemed to be one of those gems, that no one really played. You take place as an evil genius, and your goal is to take over the world. In other words, your the bad guy from the James Bond movies. You hire henchmen, get secret lairs, the works. Quite a fun game, anyone ever play it?

Just Here For The Pie

I have Evil Genius.

I remember being hyped up for the game months in advance before its release.
I mean, how cool is it to be the bad guy, right? Like playing City of Villains but with more world domination!- But not really like playing CoV at all.

The game is a really awesome strategy game where you build a base inside a mountain on a deserted island, train minions, and send them out to; steal loot and swag, kidnap specially trained personnel to use their skills for your own men, take over territory, or just gain information.

The forces of justice do not too kindly to all this "World Domination" going on, so of coarse you have your occasional agents trying to find and break into your base to either; take pictures of your base to raise your notoriety (that's bad!), steal back your swag, or just plain ol' try to kill all your men, blow up your base, and assassinate you!

This is were your have the awesome ability to trick your base out with traps!
The trap system was probably the coolest engine in the game. You set up little censors that agents step on or walk though that activates a trap whither it is; a wind machine that blows your enemies into a wall that stuns them, a trap door that opens up making them fall into a pit of fire, or a gas chamber that closes from on top of them trapping them inside while poisonous gas fills the chamber.............
If you were creative enough, they could walk in on a censor, be blow into a pit of fire by a wind machine, and then concealed in a chamber of gas!
Combining traps in Evil Genius was the coolest thing to do!

The forces of justice will get more and more desperate to take you down, so they might send 20 men at a time descending from the sky on their parachutes with AK-47s! Maybe if you ticked off more then one country at a time, there might be a second wave of men getting off a boat with machine guns. You might even find yourself up against a Secret Agent!(Kinda like this game's boss that you cannot kill and more then one can attack at once, even four at once!) What now!?
The answers is your Henchmen. The greatest in Villain minionary with the soul purpose to protect you. They will gladly take down those Secret Agents for you.
Feel The Heat... Red Heat!

Yeah, now I am just rambling on about this game, that is how much I love it.
This game is something that I would highly recommend to those who want a new strategy game to play.

Have the game, it kicks ass.

Also, don't send your henchmen after a Super Agent unless they have healthy minion backup; Normal agents can only knock out your henchmen, and only with a concentrated effort, but a Super Agent can kill a lone and inexperienced Henchmen with relative ease.

Relatively ancient and inactive

While you guys play the game, I'll do the real thing. {Insert evil laughter here}

Always send more then one Henchmen, but make sure they attack the Super Agent at the same time.
It is a great strategy to send Red Ivan ahead of your attacking Henchmen first so he can stop and fire his rocket launcher at a distance, knocking the agent down. Then, as the blast clears, send it the other Henchmen after.
Warning:
Fear Jet Chan. He opens a huge can of whoop ass in a short period of time. It is best to stun him with Red Ivan's rocket launch first.

Red Ivan may he a hardcore sonofabitch machine, but he also has an annoying tendancy to accidentally annihilate groups of minions and set your base on fire with his rocket launcher.

Also, to add onto the strat here: Jubei's Wind Walk allows him to teleport to anywhere on the island, useful for cleaning up pesky agents, and stepping in behind a Super Agent after the rocket blast clears to Eviscerate them for massive damage; the Eviscerate power can bring down Mariana Mamba (the first Super Agent) in one hit.
