Can terrain crash a map?

I had this problem a few days ago and it turned out to be the placement of start locations, yet I am unable to start the map in single player(it doesn't allow me to even view mission briefing) and crashes me online. I was wondering if it's possible for the terrain to crash a map, yet a part of me deems that impossible.

Map is 128x128 with only 8 start locations.

First, there's an edit button for a reason. Second, should anyone have this problem in the future, it would be nice to detail what you did to fix it. Even if it's something as simple as "I didn't actually have any start locations", that's still something that we can then search for, and relay to the next guy who wants to know.

Also, as far as I know, no terrain can crash a map, but sprites definitely can. If you you extremely extended terrain, I'm sure the map would crash, but it is probably just null terrain when you go off the palette in SCMDraft.

Terrain can make a map unplayable though, I remember my brother made a maze map but the pathways were to small and the map was unable to load properly so you couldn't play it. It says when you start it somthing about the paths being to small so its rather obvious... XD

Edit: I realize this is repetitive.

Something about "nooks and crannies". I forgot about this. Someone want to shed light onto why SC can't handle these things?

SC just has difficulty loading large amounts of tight terrain, it's kinda random though at the same time. But terrain will never crash the map.

Vrael shouted: Idk, I was looking more for a dehumidifer company which maybe stands out as a beacon of relief amidst damp and unpredictable climates of bustling metropolises. Not sure Amazon qualifies
sounds like moisture control is often a pressing concern in your city
