New problem:
Okay, I got my computer up and running, yay. But, I bought 2 hard drives that are 500 GB each.
HOWEVER, my local disk says they only have 127 GB on one of them, and idk how to get the other on My Computer.

Out of curiosity, why do you have a terabyte of space?

make sure the hd without the os is the slave.

Can you describe your setup to us? What interfaces are the drives using? IDE? SATA? Try downloading Hiren's Boot Disc (check for it on torrent sites...) - it has some nice partition and drive managers which might shed some light on the problem (as well as giving you a set of kickass tools for various uses).

Make sure you have XP SP2 or better and then reformat the drives. Make sure to format them as NTFS, quick format.

How do you set a harddisc to 'slave'? I bought a new one a while ago, but haven't managed to get it to work yet, and I think that's the problem.
For IDE hard drives. I always forget to change the pins when I pop in a new DVD drive, though thankfully those are moving to SATA as well.
