Orid Ibanna, Space communists, clouds, and floating crap, oh my!
Orid Ibanna is a total conversion for Starcraft, taking place where no other mod has: Inside of my head Well, actually, a specific place inside of my head. That place is a Nebulae called Orid Ibanna. Inside of that that nebulae closely resembles a mixture of space, and Earth's sky; meaning there are clouds, blue sky, asteroids, space junk, and anything else that I might decide to add; all floating around inside of this nebulae.

So, besides the basic premise of the mod, of course, I do plan on actually putting races into it The plan is to have two medium sized races.

Overall: About 45% done
Probably buildings could be "built in" space junk or rocks that you see normally on the terrain, that way they won't see like if they were floating ... out of nowhere..
EDIT: I randomly grabbed paint and made something to show you in like 2 minutes. No kidding, they were really 2 minutes or less.
It actually turned out pretty good, you can use it even of you don't use the whole built in buildings idea

Its still really hard to tell if tht building is supposed to be floating or not. Maybe a different masking color would help -- make it look like its in the back round with a color that blends in and the floating buildings use a less entense mask. Remember, color is your friend.
You can tell all the buildings are floating easily. You know how air units float up and down? Well, all the buildings do that as well, so even if the building doesn't look like it was meant to be floating, it still pulls off the illusion nicely.
I'll also look into recoloring the buildings to blend in more. I think I understand what you mean, but it looks fine to me. =/ I'll see what I can do.
And Corbo, thats cool, but how could I make buildings be built on asteroids? Asteroids are part of terrain, so that could be pretty hard to do.
That I will "accidentally" neglect to use until the last minute then I will be like "oh yeah, I forgot to do that. Too late now. "
Well... I got the Outrider half ingame. It works fine, but its attack is foobar at the moment. It seems datedit is having issues with saving. (Or maybe, WINmpq is having issues with adding...) I guess I might have to revert back to 1.5b and see if that helps.

replaced units and most of stuffs they looks really anarchy kind of sky robber for me
btw, one idea flashed on me which similar to this mod
i think if tileset replaced as just water type that would be characteristic much more
so draw up a plan the concept is the Battle at Sea and units / buildings are has just Sea Type for modern times
such as the submarine, an aircraft carrier and sort of the modern ships and kind of sea scooters
and reset resources as Sea oil and iron
anyways the concept flashed upon me just like that
I'm fairly certain the screenshots is our game against each other...after the rines stopped crashing
Anyway good luck Polaris, I loved the mod, I just had to attend to other things when you asked me to help. Also, I agree with NirvanaJung, the Pegasus faction does seem like Air Pirates.
