Meet the Mechana.

I finally decided on the second race...

The Mechana are sentient robots; they were created by a long dead race, millions of years ago. What was left of them remained dormant on the outskirts of Orid Ibanna, only to be awakened by the arrival of Pegasus Legion.

The Mechana were programmed to do one thing. Defend the nebulae. At all costs.

=======---- Now, the Mechana do not have very many units of their own, which forced them to steal from the humans. Using their 1337 h4xor abilities, NOT GOING TO HAPPEN they were able to steal every ship design the Empire of Man had in action, obsolete, or in production. Now, with a very full arsenal of modified human ordinance, they took up the fight to erase humanity from Orid Ibanna. ---=======

I have successfully learned to render my 3d models. The Mechana will have a full arsenal of units- their OWN units.

Getting pretty close to finally finishing this mod, then, im outta here.

Do you think you can darken the clouds for this tileset just a bit? They're going to be a bit distracting ingame from what I can see. Other than that, I really like the new race's colors.

The Mechana Enforcer. Fully unique, and my first (non shitty looking) 3D render into Starcraft.

New unit: Mechana Spearhead Cruiser
Plays a role similar to the Pegasus Matador, which is anti-fighter.

There's a second pic, but Imageshack is being a bitch right now.

Its like the carrier. It can hold 12 Swarmers. The swarmers are very cheap and fast to build, but only have 10 hp, meaning they get killed by 1 shot from most things.
