When you try to register this error comes up:

A Staredit Network error has occured:
GET variable value invalid. Problem v = 1{
Please contact administration with all the details.

The regs have been (from what I remember) broken for atleast 2 months

Maybe thats why this place has died?

SEN died? Yeah, okay.

They clearly aren't broken, as evidenced by people still registering, proven by a search by ID to find the people who have registered most recently.

Furthermore, I have run through the registration script myself and have been able to register successfully.

Until you can provide more details, I'm just going to stand by the claim that everything is working.

Try actually looking at your address bar and removing the offending characters in the GET query.

I think you are looking at this the wrong way... if someone reports a problem with your software, they probably aren't lying about it. It may work for you but perhaps hes running a different browser, has javascript disabled, or something.

"Problem v=1" isn't an awfully descriptive error message either. Perhaps its something hes doing wrong but SEN throws a weird error leaving him to believe that he did everything correctly. Either way this should be looked into.

I would like to addon on here.I believe when I first tried to register here,I was using IE7 and it gave me that error.The only reason why I using IE7 is because of my own web site testing.
So @MiniMoose2707 Maybe you yourself use a few browsers to try and register with?(Yeah I know more work is never fun)

Random problems are the worst. I remember when latova had inconsistant read/unread indicators. I had to do an overhaul of that stuff before I finally figured it out.

I had the same when I registered, I just had to resent the validation mail. Maybe it's something with the first mail. I hope this helps. :ermm:

Well it hasn't 'died' I was exaggerating but anyways:

I also tried using IE 7 (i was using firefox 2) and got the same error

The url is http://www.staredit.net/?p=login&area=sent&type=1{

But removing the "type-0{" sends me back to SEN saying
"validation Required" and I get the e-mail

and no i don't have javascript disabled on either

Not to be Captain Obvious, but haven't you tried removing only the '{'?
