Too few people today take good care of their computers. A computer can be kept running as good (or better!) as if it were new with some time and effort. I'm recommending a lot of advice from another forum, MajorGeeks... they know what they're talking about. I hope to lead you to a better computing experience. Knowledge is power here. :)
Basic Maintainence - A few things everyone should do to gain a bit of speed out of your computer and keep things running smoothly. I will mention that I disagree with one thing in this guide... I would use a more powerful registry cleaner because they will pick up things that CCleaner's does not. Personally, I use RegSeeker. Just be sure to take backups when editing the registry. Malware Removal Guide - A guide to cleaning out the bad stuff, if you have any, think you have any, or are just paranoid. This can be an all-day project, so you've been warned. For computers with serious malware problems, though, it's worth it. Misc. Guides This post was edited 2 times, last edit by Merrell: Jun 13 2008, 12:36 pm.
