I'm making such a map. It's going to based on the anime series Neon Genesis Evangelion.

So you create your own robot or whatever and you pick weapons and specials? Good luck with it, make sure its not as boring as naruto hokage with those crappy spells. Post more info as soon as possible and I suggest you get rid of that neutral unit in that map or change it's color. It makes it pretty ugly.

We need moar details. If you pick-up weapons and such, do you just get one unit, or does one unit=one part?

Yes, so here are more details
---------------
you pick your heroes - zealot, dt, ghost, marine, firebat, probe (can build photon cannons), zergilng, hydra, ultra, infested kerrigan, goliath, archon
---------------
you have 2 sets of spells - barrack & stargate. barrack is preset -
m- overlord pops up for low gas --> enemy can't click on your hero for spells
f - infested terran
g - queen
c - 4 zerglings temporarily
----------------------
customizable scout spells
high templar
6 hallucinations of broodlings with very low hp
medic with heal & recover
4 summons of vulture (lasts as long as its hp is above 0)
arbiter - 0 attack, no freeze, 1 recall ability, that moves about freely - you can use it whenever to recall so you free your hero from some trap or immediate death... enemy can destroy it... it dies when its mana is 0, recall takes all 250 mana

carrier spells
defiler with cloud - the cloud is replaced with several spider mines instead
guardian (you must be able to aim with it.......... there will be dummy enemy units so you'd miss unless you aim.... very hard to aim--> very strong spell in return)
corsair with web
4 temporary ghosts
blind (you look at an anime face)
maelstrom, feedback...... 2 feedbacks or 1 maelstrom

arbiter spells
gas investment - you sacrifice a considerable amount- and you get more gas for a certain period of time
siege tank
yamato cannon
lurker
transport nearby enemy units into remote area, they get lightly damaged

corsair spells
dragoon (EVA spell) --> your hero goes away, and you fight as a dragoon. Like going inside a mecha EVA
science vessel with irradiate, emp, and def matrix
archon - very temporary, 2 attacks, you'd probably miss it if enemy's running away
reaver
temporary invincibility
magnet system - you drop a magnet --> all enemies by run ai script run toward it, only way to free themselves is by destroying that magnet

ok. whenever you pick a hero, you hear a WAV of the character's voice (example - see attachment)

and. in arena, there will be "portals" where you move in, and you pop out somewhere else. i'm hoping this will make game more exciting, and hurt gay cheap plyrs who run away constantly.
:::::: on this portal issue, the reason why i think it'd gonna be fun is that in hero wars greece, in the tight competition it was always fun to go to shop and pop out and snipe ppl. so i think this ambush-kinda excitement... the gotcha thing is going to be nice.

finally, when you pick spells, there will be explanation beacons for spells that are too hard to explain or dubious (not obvious ones like high templar or siege tank)

For one, I find the preset spells reeeeeaaalllllly boring. You have to spice them up a bit, experiment with unit deaths to give you a cool effect, or something. Just creating a queen for spells? Thats cheating :bleh:

And wasn't this idea already done in Custom Hero Wars or something?

yea, i'd like that- explosions going everywhere.

well, it was done in naruto jigoku, custom shinobi arena, etc.

the diff here would be that its gonna be anime-based, and you're going to have beacons to pop out of.

this is what you stare at when you are influenced by the blind spell. you get blinded only when you're close enough to the enemy hero casting the spell .......... cool?

Why so many sprites? Why not just center their vision on a black space so that they are actually blind? The white image/thing looks weird(no offense), and doesn't really seem like the player is blinded.

Well, I can make them stare at the face with trigger, so they'll be blinded & sprites dont make the game lag, I've done the same with zerowars & hero wars imjin.

Eva fans will recognize the face as Ayanami's.

It's pyschological assault -more creative, at least better in all ways than just a blank black screen, right? If you like Ayanami, then you'll be tempted to not look away or something... at least that's what I wanted to achieve, and that's the closest it can get to. thanks.

KrayZee -- If Resident Evil 4 is getting a remake, they better make the plot believable. Like actually send an entire team to rescue the President's daughter but the team was ambushed and all equipment were lost. Leon is the only survivor and only kept a handgun. Later he would hitchhike and get picked up. He then asked to be dropped off the nearest town.
